Passenger window fell out of regulator so I took the panel off to reconnect it - all wires in the door were put back correctly but now the immobiliser light shows and engine doesn't turn over. Is there a way to 'reset' the immobiliser? I.e. if the immobiliser isn't 'broken', just 'activated' and needs to be reset?
Thanks for the video, I have a Hyundai i 10 & it has a similar problem, the key immob light flashes sometimes & it will not start, before i replace the antenna I'll try contact cleaner on the connections, Now i know why the bottom cover won't come off, there's a screw underneath!!!!!!!!
@@xMadnezzz Yes, Funnily enough I've just had to do it again!! At least now I know I got 10 months out of it. I just took the covers off (also any electrical connectors that I could see), gave it all a good spray of contact cleaner & put it back together & it seems to work everytime again!
the antenna assy coil is a pretty common fault on these cars, however you forgot to mention that you have to use a computer/ OBD2 diagnostic tool in order to couple it with the immobiliser.
I have kia picanto 2007 i had to cut spare key and code it but if I didn’t use the remote to unlock the car to use spare one the alarm get off ... so bcz the last bit in video not clear R u sayingis i remove them to wire for this intena the problem will be solved thank u
Hello, this video is not about the chip in the key. It is about the antenna. So the key or spare key should be already okey. So on my issue, antenna failed and i changed it.

Maybe the immo chip in the key head is broken. Could you try with spare key? Also the cables(power etc) of antenna should be checked if they have good connection or not.

I had the same problem with my kia sorento but I resolved the issue with changing out the starter switch. I had an error code registering this problem as a high voltage.
@@gomodoejderi no problem. I had the problem over 2 years and didn't know what to do. Then a while ago I got problems with the key lock and starter. I looked up the problem on CZcams and changed out the starter switch without removing the panels, just laying on my back with my head between gas and brake pedal😁 solved both problems for 6,90 euro for the piece and 10 euro transport. Goodluck!

Yedek anahtarınız yoksa eğer, en azından sabah , saç kurutma makinesi ile anahtarınızı biraz ısıtıp hemen aracı çalıştırmayı deneyin. Eğer çalışırsa elinizdeki anahtar bozuk. Bir başka kullanıcı da, immo antenini değiştirerek çözmüş. Sizin yazdığınız hata, aracın bir şekilde anahtarı okuyamadigini söylüyor, daha fazla birşey anlatmıyor. Beyin, anten kablosu, anten veya anahtar...

Antenna is just a transmitter. The code is written on keys an ECU gives a decision to run or not to run the engine.

Anten sadece aracı kurum. Şifreler anahtardan geliyor , onda değişiklik yok , bu yüzden birşey fark etmedi

Actualy the problem started for me after winter. But anyway, after replacement +40,-10 doesn't matter, it works.

it is just an antenna, nothing more, copper bobin , no electronics on it.

Maybe your harness of antenna is damaged. Do you able to check voltage on connector?
