You may have already told your family about the planned trip/may have already bought tickets so it's your choice if you'd like to cancel or not, but Seaworld is a for-profit company with sketchy history known to house cetaceans such as orcas, bottlenose dolphins, etc which is highly agreed to NOT be ethical, especially by the means of which seaworld obtains them. Whales and dolphins have languages and cultures, and have their brain structures VERY similar to humans as well.
If you'd like any kinder alternatives to Seaworld I definitely recommend visiting the San Diego Zoo/Safari Park and the Birch Aquarium. Both are non-profit organizations where ALL proceeds truly go towards the animals. (The birch aquarium is much smaller than seaworld and sdzoo/safari but you should keep it in mind in-case you'd like to visit an aquarium still)
Please limit the money you give to seaworld if you still plan on going to seaworld! Drop off with a bus or an uber and make sure you eat a good meal and hydrate before you go, seaworld food is expensive and isn't great anyways. If it's possible, bring waterproof jackets with zip-up pockets so you can avoid bag/locker fees on rides. 👍

I’m going to seaworld San Diego on the 8th of August do you recommend the Ultimate Ticket Bundle?
That truly depends on what you are looking to do at SeaWorld and what means the most to you. Right now SeaWorld is doing a great deal where a ticket $60 and the add on for the ultimate bundle is $72 added. So for $142 for everything is a very good deal and I would do that if you are only at SeaWorld for one day. Normally I would say no just because I am not the biggest fan of Seaworlds food. But if you are going to be there all day it makes sense to get the bundle since all it takes is two meals to pay for itself. So in short if you can get the discounted deal and if rides are important to you then yes. The bundle would be worth it
Hey can you give me steps on someone like me who is going to SeaWorld for the first time? I have a platinum pass and using two tickets to bring two family members.
Absolutely. To redeem your free passes you can either go to guest services at the front or go to one of the self service machines. Provide your Platinum pass card and then redeem for the free passes. You would need to actually enter the park with the people who are getting the free passes. They do this as a safety measure. Once you are in you can do whatever you want.
