Sold my first generation Galaxy watch a long time ago now I think it's time to get one again since it's improved alot overtime with the UI having Google support and the processor is faster now. Like the look of the standard Galaxy Watch 4.
Thank God it still has OneUI and now with WearOS apps. This is perfect for me.
It just doesn't have Google Assistant functionality yet.
@@DeadmanInc336 you're sure? Samsung maybe favouring it over Bixby :(
@@bradavon word around the grapevine is that it will get Google Assistant support. Eventually.... 🤷♂️
@@DeadmanInc336 other people said it does. That you can't have them both at the same time
It has support for CZcams music app? To listen downloads songs directly on the watch with by headphones?
I pre-ordered the 44mm watch4 yesterday, got a $50 credit for the new buds2. Im so excited and cant wait for their arrival. Thank you Uncle Sammy 😊
I got watch 4,buds 2,samsung GPS thing and an additional green leather strap for 185 total. Watch 2 active trades in for 150 and it's 75 dollars used online. You only need the face for trade in BTW
@@PozzaPizz Wow... beautiful.
When are your orders arriving? 30th?
Preordered too and got free dual wireless charger for phone and watch (Canada)☺
Uncle sammy? lol
Still rocking my og galaxy watch because even after 3 years its battery still lasts 3 days. I was hyped to move to the watch4 but "up to 40 hours" battery is holding me back...?
Battery life really puts me off.. and the bezels.
Still rocking my fitbit charge 3 that lasts over a week.
I like what this watch does, but what's the point if it's always dead
Huh, mine drains pretty quickly now smh Probably bc of the always on heart rate tracking. They should implement automation features like their Galaxy phones
EDIT: Turns out it was due to software issue with Samsung Accessories constantly trying to send information from my S20 FE to my GW. It drains both devices, mainly the watch tho, but resetting the watch and reinstalling Galaxy Wearable mitigated the issue a bit. It acts up whenever my phone is paired with my car and my watch at the same time, but I've been using airplane mode to mitigate the issue. I never had this issue with my S8 Active, so I just thought my watch had a battery drain issue due to me working in the sun, which may overheat it.
The old watch is just to ugly to wear.
Is it worth money? How has watch helped you? I'm looking for some serious reviews as I'm planning to buy one
Yes you are correct. I can't get 18hrs from mine 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
Your smartwatch is 40mm or 44mm?
The price is amazing 👏 ❤❤❤
So they collaborated with Google's Wear OS....but completely forgot Google Assistant compatibility out of the box???
This is a deal breaker for me.
@@sonamtsheten6297 Yep, me too.
Is this confirmed?
@@sparkequinox Check with The Verge "Samsung tells me Google Assistant won’t be available at launch, and it’s an open question whether it’ll arrive at a later date. "
@@GadgetyMV Samsung always promises things and never delivers remember the CZcams app on Galaxy watches yeah that never came remember when they said that Snapchat would have better quality because it would give developers access to the cameras and that never happened so I wouldn't hold my breath
The snore feature, does it do anything to help to stop you? Like vibrate or anything?
40 hr battery means you are keeping second phone. They could have increased its battery around 460-500 mah . What’s more , the lack of Google assistant is kinda let down. You are still paying premium yet compromising.
40hr just isn't good enough in my opinion..
500 mAh would of been perfect
Support for Google assistant is coming.
How is it not enough? Are you never sitting down in your house for an hour, or showering or eating or anything? As long as it lasts more than a full day it should be fine.
@@jerrodshack7610 . Well , even with medium use with its all sensors on and texting messages, it can only survive a day some how. Then it is likely to take more than 2 hours to get charged. It's just gonna be like keeping a second phone.
I loved my galaxy watch 3 on rose gold. It was amazing, it held pretty good considering I was always bumming into things and the battery was alright. For sure a full day if I charged it during the night. Unfortunately I lost it so now I'm looking to upgrade (might as well). But I'm sure that watch would've lasted me a while more. I had it for two years and it was still working fine!
Will you plz help me to understand the feathers of this watch
Really love the fact they this young lady does the Samsung reviews now I just ordered the regular watch 4
Why can't they make this into a wall clock for rooms?
idk
I think it’s mostly about being a health monitoring device. Samsung family hub refrigerator can connect to smart-things for house controls and smart devices or a cheaper option for smart homes is wall mounted tablets and their smart TVs
wait... Now I really want it :o
u kno what id prob buy one
Isn’t this comment supposed to be a joke?
sooooooooooo hyped for this watch.
The battery life cmon man, make the bezels smaller and make the battery life like 2-4x better and im.sold 🌚
Very good watch
What size of the 4 were you wearing? 40mm or 44mm?
The the active is now called regular. Ok good to know. Might wait till the Galaxy watch 5 to give them more time to develop with the new software. I've the og active which is still working for me
Wait until 10 comes out then the watch dont need battery charging. It will run like a mechanic watch
Wait till watch 30 by then they'll won't even need a battery ...and the watch will be invisible hahaha
Same as u said. I did that with the buds. I heard several bad stuff of the versión 1 and 2 so I waited 3 and I am in loved
@@ernestotorres1978 but 4 will always be better than 3
Thats completely true! Lets see whats coming next or at least a few updates
Thank you you were beautiful and the watches were beautiful as well
Silly question but is the 40mm/44mm size measured from lug to lug? Or the circular case?
Let us know when you have the watch hands on.
Thank you
I'm very impressed with these 2 new smart watches. A great video. Stay safe Sister
I have the active 2 42mm. I have small wrist so I'm debating which regular 4 size to go for.
I have a small wrist also…. But I decided to try the bigger one on the regular four 😏
The 44mm size should work fine for you. I have small wrists, and I'm getting that one.
I looked up pictures online - people with small wrists wearing the different sizes.
I have a small wrist too and the smaller one looks best imo
You should look at pics if you are unsure or go to at T mobile to try the different sizes on
Samsung have a terrible track record of following through on software updates. I have a watch active 2, still waiting for the ECG features.
Instead of complaining, get the 4 for $250 with your active 2 trade in.
Does it have Google assistance instead of Bixby???
If I don't snoring but my parents do. How the watch detect? Can someone help me with that? Thanks
for those planing to use the watch in water activities keep in mind that if anything goes wrong i mean water damage Samsung won't be honoring the claims that the watch is ip68 and you will be paying over 200 dollar for the repairs.
I’ve been swimming with my Gear Sport for two years without issues. I wouldn’t worry about it too much.
@@haaibaai good for you, good luck just be prepared for chilling 220 bucks if you run out of luck.
Take off that pamper!🤣
Just ordered a Samsung galaxy watch 3 for a good deal.... didn’t see the need to pay a lot more for a few extra features that I would never use....
I have both, and wish I would've brought the 4
With only 40 hrs of battery life...It's not worth the upgrade. 👎🏾😛 I'll stick with my GW3 😉
Which of the Galaxy 4 has the option of taking calls?
The one with LTE
Is verry nice,, with Android wear i hope i have like this in future
Nice upgrades!
44mm is whole watch top to bottom (strap handles included)? Or 44mm is glass screen width only? Thank you
I have the galaxy watch, Galaxy Active 2 and Galaxy watch 3. All very similar with the exception of newest monitors which lets face it, are there for general info only and not relied on. I get 2-3 days on my Galaxy watch and about 1.5-2 days on the others. I use always on display, Heart rate measured every 2 hrs and other monitors set to on demand only. MyGalaxy watch is still one I gravitate to the most and Active 2 is okay but seems glitchy. Galaxy 3 is a closest to 1 in performance of apps, etc. but I got a ding in finish first week so I don’t use as daily watch. I was hesitant to get the Watch 4 biased on battery claims as they usually fall short of quoted but I new eventually I would break so I preordered with the hard to resist offers on my phone carriers site. I’m not expecting much in upgrades except for operating system and apps but I sure hope to get at least a full day on charge since that is all I need since I don’t wear to bed. But would be nice to get advertised time. Would also be nice if they had all the features advertised available out of box but then it wouldn’t be a Samsung if they did would it?
Is the 44mm on galaxy watch huge size? How does it feel on your wrist?
Good enough
I pre ordered the galaxy watch 4 44mm. I was going to buy the galaxy watch 4 classic . But I think paying $400 the a smartwatch is crazy. I'm also a fan of the bezel. I haven't heard anything. But is Samsung health gone. And if so what's replaying it?
Why haven't you claim your winning prize money yet?
How about spo2 ? They have or no
Gonna pre-order Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 for my birthday present! =) But don't know whether to get the Classic or the watch 4...
Get the classic one mate, looks more professional and it will protect your screen, I'm currently using watch 3 lte and it's amazing.
I'm debating on getting the watch 4 non classic version. I have galaxy watch 3 and although the rotating bezel does protect the screen from damages, I want the seamless design of the digital rotating...
@@Solidity_Decorum_N_Class make sense, as a guy I like that I can rock my watch 3 to any local and any function because it looks like a real watch looking. You know what i mean!!
I didnt feel like waiting for the galaxy watch 4. So I got the active 2. I could really care less about wearos and apps. And on the other hand, It does exactly what I need. So it's perfect for me

Google Home and Google Assistant? Such as Phillips Hue and other stuff?
No Google Assistant. According to the Verge "Samsung tells me Google Assistant won’t be available at launch, and it’s an open question whether it’ll arrive at a later date."
I wonder if the calories burned 🔥during workouts would be much more accurate, before trading in my galaxy watch 3
Have the original. No Snore but 2 days plus battery.
Go for TIC Watch pro 3 for best battery and Wear OS performance in every aspect
When is the galaxy active 3 coming out?
What's the last sansung watch with MST? The Gear S3?
Yeah, they canned it with the original Galaxy Watch.
Still "ECG only" for the US. Disappointing.
Is there a reason they don't include it?
@@brandonedghill1016 they don't have regulatory approval in the US.
They haven't approved anything for the blood pressure yet. Only the ECG is approved. 😕 atleast that's how my Watch 3 is. I couldn't find the BP app so I googled it and found that out. Yep disappointing 😞
I saw the Bixby icon. Is Google Assistant on the watch as well? Because Bixby is pretty bad on my Active 2.
Samsung said support for Google Assistant in a coming in an update.
No Google Assistant and Samsung has not committed to bringing it either, only that it may appear sometime in the future. This according to the Verge "Samsung tells me Google Assistant won’t be available at launch, and it’s an open question whether it’ll arrive at a later date."
According to the Verge they did not. Have you got a link with the statement from Samsung?
Snore detection? Does it wake you up when you snore?
No
I think the watch will yank ur hair
@@foxzeaker77 or a peck on the cheek. Spooky 🤣
The biggest flaw according to me is that Samsung Watches take into account your Samsung Health Profile and Basal Metabolic Rate to measure calorie burned during a workout. So they are tailored to you, providing your profile is accurate, but these workouts (except walking & running) don't use the Heart Rate Monitor to count burned calories which is plain stupid according to me. I'm really hoping they fix this in Watch4 and is par with how other popular brands track calories during a workout by using actual heart rate and not a BMR formula. None of the reviewers bother with this in the past reviews too and hoping someone sees this and questions Samsung.
Question: I'm considering getting a one of these galaxy watches (my 1st smart watch) will the one with the rotating bezel look OK on a female?
I had Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2. Was disappointed with it. Step count was inaccurate, the floors climbed never worked, Spo2 didn't work ( Canada), stress tracking didn't work, sleep tracking was not good enough, it was a good looking working watch that's all.
Hopefully, it's better now, but we'll see
Maybe a faulty watch? I am very happy with my active 2. Steps are pretty spot on, sleep tracking too. Stress tracking definitely works. And mine does track floors climbed. Spo2 was never a feature of this watch so nothing to complain about there as I knew before I bought it. The only thing is that it can be inaccurate at first but it learns your usage patterns and gets better the more you use it. I for one could only be happier if they made whatsapp app for it, otherwise nothing to complain about.
@@failallistakenf299 Canada?
Hi. Do you know if the watch is compatible with other Android phones besides Samsung? I have a OnePlus 9 and would love to purchase this watch, but I'm hesitant because of that reason.
Did Samsung watch 4 detect blood sugar and oxygen?
Awesome... waiting
I think it should be clearly stated that " unless you have a Samsung phone, don't buy the watch because it is not compatible." Unexpected that google agreed to this partnership which excludes every other phone from being compatible with all the features.
It's a Samsung watch lmao
Hope all those sensor work with any android phone
They don't. Only with samsung phones. :(

Unsure should i go still with the 40mm? I had 40mm iwatch which a bit small on me.
Any idea from thos who already had it.
How do you add a ringtone? My 2 active I was able to use my pho e ringtone on my watch. Now with this watch it won't let me. I hate the stupid ringtones the watch has
The watch looks stunning but which one would be better to get: 4 or 4 Classic?
Classic. I will consider getting the Classic once they actually roll out the update to use Google Assistant with it.
I'm gonna get the 4
I'm getting the Classic because I've loved the rotating physical bezel since the Gear S2. If you plan on using it for a lot of working out, the regular Watch 4 may be more comfortable for that though.
@@DeadmanInc336 you can use it already. I just pre-ordered the 46 classic from Verizon. They have it listed on the features
@@JTxTX you sure? Because every outlet is saying that Google Assistant support MIGHT come later but that it won't have it at launch. SamMobile and Android Central reported the same as well. Verizon must be misinformed.
Will it work with iphone for basic stuff? These are so much better looking than ugly apple watch.
Yes, it has limited compatibility with Apple phones. The App Store has the Samsung Wearables app I think
I read in its product description that watch 4 is not compatible with iOS. Apple people can buy watch 3 rather.
Please check if it's possible to accept phone calls,
It is. ( Bluetooth version: has to be connected to the phone , LTE version: works with a sim card but you usually have to pay a monthly bill/fee)
Does it work well with all Google apps fully like Google messages the Galaxy watch 3 you can receive but sending was very clunky and wasn't fully integrated you have to use the Samsung's trash messaging app
I think so being that the Google Play store is now available to download apps and I'm pretty sure we will be able to download Google messages app
They need to make a watch strap ecosystem - just like Apples
*Their is no option for changing bands if you want to*

So why can't the regular have a 46mm option? That bezel on the classic is horrific.
Finally a new processor. Hasn't that been a bottleneck and make "upgrades" pointless for years? At any rate good to see something new in the guts instead of just fancy casings/os changes.
Yep. Watch 3 has basically no advantages over the original Watch. Same processor, smaller battery. Just a slightly sleeker form factor and that's it.
There are tizen fans?
Why call it the Watch 4 and Classic. Why not the Active 3 and Watch 4.
To keep the numbers lined up. They did the same thing when they skipped the Note 6 to release the Note 7 alongside the S7
I'm still wearing the gear s3 frontier. Battery life is still better than the new watch and it has MST. So I'm happy. Samsung skipped out on adding the blood glucose sensor. Bad move Samsung.
