Baltimore has had a major rat problem since forever. I was born and raised in west Baltimore. Several times rats have entered various properties i have rented here. Unfortunately rats will always be a problem in all major cities in America....
That "pest control" company that was previously servicing the building didn't do a very good job. That's one *_big ass rat!_* You just know he's been feeding there for a while, and all the litter certainly doesn't help!
One person made a comment about how the rats came out after closing. Another person made a comment about there's never just one. Good points, the customers didn't see that, but you know it's bad when you see one climbing through the food during business hours...how many more are there? How long has it been going on?
During the 1990’s (beeper/pager era) I lived dntn Baltimore. So not having to drive I walked to the Harbor past historic world famous Lexington Market around 7 pm. Just after you people left and the Lexington Market was closed for business for the day these grey furry friends were invited (by the hundreds) to an after-hours party and food binge. It was PACKED wall to wall. They didn’t even have a cover charge or fee for anything like you get to pay. Now that’s a party!! Every time I went to the Baltimore Harbor in the evening I’d check in on the party. Always a crowded event @ Lexington Market. Go by after closing - See for yourself as you peer inside.
All they had to do was say it's Marty Mart™. Lexington Market's own mascot. The money he could generate for the community with hats, T-shirts, scoozies, etc would be off the chain. Hahaaaa
I had just polished off a slice of coconut cake from that establishment, but I'm not concerned about fecal material in the bakery goods, I'm worried about fecal material on two feet.
I stop eating I want a crackhead start coming in their grandkids in the pits and all of that out your name right now you need a food all hell no I wouldn’t be eating less than market ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever again
Never just one rat.... That's like saying there is one roach
No, no. I wanted chocolate mousse, not chocolate mouse.
Funny!

Swarms of rats?
Subway system is the real reason for the cultivation of pests in the city.
I’m so sad that Lexington market is basically dead now me my friends and friends children would go there
They are starting to tear it down and remodel it now
there are more rats in Lexington than in all of Central Booking
The market was back open the next morning... nothing comes between a junkie and cheap eats..😌❤️😌
I could never go there again and buy and enjoy cake YUCK. 🤮🤮🤮

When we were young Howard Street had everything, then in the year of the civil rights act, as a child I saw my first purse snatching
I hope they marked down the food the rat walked on
Patrick Ols How about getting rid of it entirely?
Good one!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
