Haha! It’s not easy…most of the time! Sometimes you get an easy one. It takes a lot of work and time. Hal does mention in his books and whatnot just how persistent you have to be.

Looks like another great day in the woods, big deer tracks to follow, bedded doe, Moose, can`t ask for much more, except a big buck! 16 years hunting I found the same thing big bucks don`t like crossing the logging roads, except they do cross them on the roads off the Golden Rd. Hey id kick that propane heater to the curb and get a Rinnai direct vent in there those old propane heaters non-vented are awful hit us up Adams Heating or if you needs anything done at home and camp give us a call
Hey Greg! You’re right, those are nice heaters…in fact I believe we almost went that way. I think we just felt that it was going to be used so little…it wasn’t going to be worth the expense. Maybe that’s something we need reconsider. I appreciate the advice!

You are leaving way to early in the day. We stay right until you cannot see 10 ft in front of you as that’s when they will come out
Hi Malcolm! It’s kind of a different scenario. I assume when you say you stay until you can’t see…you are referring to stand hunting? Some times we will stay on a track until dark if things are looking good. It’s often a long walk out of the woods. A 2 hour walk back through the woods to the truck is no fun in the middle of the night 😉. Thanks for watching.
