- We are in Brașov, Romania (also known as Kronstadt in German and Brassó in Hungarian). It's the 7th largest city of the country with around 280,000 inhabitants.
Brasov is centrally located in the Transylvania region at the foot of Mount Tâmpa, around 175km from Bucharest but here we get mountain views and medieval Saxon-influenced architecture.
Starting at the central Piata Sfatului, notable landmarks include the Black Church (Biserica Neagra) and the remarkably narrow "String Street" (Strada Sforii), originally designed for firefighter access. The tour continues all around town with a scenic view from the Black Tower (Turnul Negru), a historic watchtower before returning to the old town center.
On this tour we'll get a good view of Brasov which is a set against the backdrop of the Carpathian Mountains.

What do you mean? I filmed 3 videos in Brasov that day. I will surely include the month/year of recording as it's interesting info to some. If you mean you want more current videos - I'd post 3 videos per day of the same city it surely would be too much. You can watch the sequential uploads in the member section which I'm currently building out. At the moment there are more than 100 videos in the pipeline, over 30 yet to be uploaded yet the channel will have the most varied mix possible. 2 Videos per week is plenty... Thanks for watching!
I love the videos and I know I'm getting all this for free so it's not really fair to complain about things. But - if a video was uploaded yesterday, it makes sense to assume it was taken yesterday, or at least a couple of days ago, right? And with many Pop Travel videos, that's just not the case which is outrageous.
The thing is, that I'm not full time traveling and this isn't a news channel. If I did upload all walks, there would be thousands of videos but with 120+ per year since 2019 there are tons of places. I recorded upto 4 walks on a single day.
Most channels cover only one area or country so it's easier to post current events. Here on POPtravel you get one of the most diverse mix of countries as I'd be bored with just one area. I often upload one video of a place soon after recording. The additional walks are just posted later. Here, the first Brasov walk was posted in September 2022 shortly after August 2022 recording so it was more recent. Maybe you missed it back then... It just happens that people subscribe and unsubscribe. New year, new viewers and they still get a variety of places. For everyone who wants to watch in sequence, just join the channel and you see the video instantly after upload with the number in the title

BTW, some channel also post much older videos. You can't tell because they don't inform of the recording dates. For transparency reasons I display the recording info but I understand that people would prefer it more "live"
