The chicken can finally rest in Valhalla. You will be remembered.
In game easter egg idea: if you capture and hold all creeps at the same time in a 1v1 match, you unlock the "Chicken Valhalla" achievement
I get that this is very reminiscent of creep camps in WC3, but for the sake of immersion and atmosphere, I hope that in the future they can make the creep lurk around the monuments in some dynamic fashion like they're on patrol, instead of simply standing idle. It would create much more of a living world feel to the maps. This should be a relatively easy change.
Taking out the dog with the satellite dish on his back is a massive mistake.
Having a specific kind of creep for each camp type aids in readability, good stuff!
Also, love the Siege Camp guy's axe-mohawk, brutal!

Those shadowy purple creeps are very cool. I wish we had more units like those in the Infernal faction that look really demonic. The other creeps are cool aswell.
Maybe will get them as some sort of specialist unit, like an assassin or saboteur.
Aren't the ones from the vision camp actually one of the T3 infernal units we saw in concept art ages ago?
@@DeltaLeader309 i think they are but not sure. To be honest i woudnt mind if the shadow hounds replace some of the more boring units in the Infernals faction like the Gaunts. I would rather build Hellhounds and unleash them in true hellish fashion on the enemy then some borring units like the Gaunt. If FG is reading this swap their places, give us Hell dogos as faction units and place the Gaunts as creeps. Its a win win situation.
I can see Samswise's touch in these camps. Very brash and popping. Love it!
I hope we get some lore on those

I would love for at least some of the Creeps to have some interesting abilities that they could use in combat.

Those energy and health camps look vile, I love it!
Edit: I will slightly also miss the chickens hower. Would be fun to have them return for a thanksgiving event or something :)

@@jiado6893 Yeah, the creeps used to be default unreal engine assets, such as chickens, goats, deer, and spiders
the chicken model was funny and I believe that model, or a similar one is returning as the chicken pet
Luckily, it shouldn't be hard to mod it back in, if you want

I just hope that this is not the final version of the models and graphics in particular, because the models themselves look, let’s say, “not impressive”, and besides, most of them don’t fit in with their surroundings at all

The resource camp looks pretty mad max if we ignore the possible infernal bear beast in the middle

These are for 1v1 maps currently, 1v1 maps are always mashups of various parts of the lore. All these units probably have origins in the campaign

Interesting models! But it's a little disturbing that the cool techno-barbarians drawn by Samwise Didier aren't shown.
They're probably gonna use those in a co-op map
the purple camps are just to avoid having to texture more units? like the entire game feels more like a tech demo than an actual game, cost cutting everywhere you can.
I understand one camp being like that, but multiple? you realize those units will be used in custom maps right? you're limiting its use
Can you say they dont look good though? Also, these graphics arent final and could be improved. Afterall, the game isnt going to be fully released for another year ATLEAST.
textures and models improve every patch they've shown so far, and the game is still years from full release

You have to take out the creep camp to unlock the capture point, then capture it

Oh please god don't tell me you're keeping in the creep camps, lol. At least not without a complete rework on how they work.
@@stardrifter2872 they reworked them last patch to be capture points instead of just instant reward

i know nobody sees it (unless they're nephilim of course or extremely well versed in gaming and other knowledges that would be required to produce true art)
but everything they're doing is right. and when SC2 came out first by the time it was like 2,3 years in it had totally changed (for the better in all ways even graphically)
this game will revitalize RTS games again. jocks/preps/normies will be playing them like they did back in Halo Wars era when jocks only played call of duty or NBA2k games.
also the future of gaming lies in warcraft 3 custom maps housing unbelievable hidden gems
also the future of gaming lies in creating map editors (like halo forge from reach) or other "make your own game" sort of programs where you dont even sell a game. you just give people a dumbed down super user-friendly "editor" of sorts that even a 9 year old could work.
p.s. to those who get rich off of this please send me 5k$ or something and hire me
This game will not revitalize RTS. Players will spike in August, September, October and then drop off heavily in subsequent months. Frost Giant Studios will then run out of money and be forced to close up shop or lay off most of their workers to keep the servers on.
