This sounds really different, but from what I've heard It's just a cover. I'm sure A7x put their own twist on it too, though I have not heard the original song.
I hear this song almost every time I go to a Mexican restaurant with Mariachis. This song was also featured in Kill Bill Vol. 2 in the final scenes as performed by Robert Rodriguez's band, Chingon.
