I’m a nerd who loves makeup and works perfectly n a medical group at a military base. This “speaks to me”.... especially that duochrome shade. I adore the packaging too. It definitely looks like something for a makeup lover who leans more neutral with a pop of color. ❤️
I'm the opposite from you, the cover is what gets me. Also the yellow and purple. The shadows are beautiful but my low buy goals make it hard because I already have so many neutrals. Gorgeous look you made with it!

The colors were definitely probably more colorful in your head because unfortunately the colors don't come out as vibrant once they oxidise on the eyes. I found this to be the case for me with this palette. I still love Mel and I'll buy whatever she comes out with because I want to support her.
So my Sydney Grace order got lost in the post but I just wanna praise them for their fantastic customer service! They refunded me straight away, even though it wasn't technically their fault and were just a pleasure to deal with! I wish more companies had such great customer service!

Same thing happened with my Christmas in July order. They shipped it, it came within 10 miles of me, got shipped back to Cali, was in a processing exception for 2 weeks, and just finally arrived. In the meantime, they sent me the order again free of charge, and THAT box got lost in the mail and delivered to someone else. USPS is a damn mess! But, their customer service and eye shadows are phenomenal.
I’m really drawn to this palette but then I see the pastels and it stops me in my tracks... I can’t stand pastels! But the other colors look absolutely beautiful 😍

Some real bugs give be the heebeejeebees. These are tattoo-styled drawings so they don't bug me one bit. Haha. See what I did there? Lol! We're equally as terrible with mom jokes. I guess I'm not one who is really turned away or towards a product regardless of what's on the cover or what the inspiration is as long as the color story speaks to me. I've always wanted to try Sydney Grace products so this was my first experience and I wasn't disappointed. Due to the little hiccups in the shipment (my Spyder shade came in cracked) and the checkout process (CCs were coming back with an error message and wound up being canceled by the processing company or refunded as a mistake - I luckily happened to have enough $ at the time to make a separate transaction using Paypal). For those who are offput by the price, there is a discount code from Mel that I used to get 15% off (PUFFINSWIFE15) so it wound up being a total of $48.20, which includes a $4 shipping fee for those in the U.S. So now I've got $30 worth of store credit and am patiently waiting for their multichromes to come back in stock so I can try their formula out.

Woooow.....just wow! It seems I had my comment deleted....what can I say, been quite a long time subscriber and I did not expect this type of behavior on this channel.... I agree with several other folks in the comments pointing out the cover art is god awful (I have tattoos, I like tattoo art, but this looks tacky; and that centipede...yuck). If this does not make it onto a "worst packaging" list, then I can only conclude people don't want to ruffle Mel Thompson's feathers.
I personally only delete comments when they are extremely nasty. I want my channel to be a positive space and I believe there’s a way to share respectful constructive criticism. I honestly don’t remember your comment but that is the rule that I always go by. I’m sorry if that upsets you.
