- We had a great time visiting Edge Powersports Dealership in Draper Utah. The New GasGas Dirt Bikes look amazing in person. Lillian is really close to moving up to a big bike and I think GasGas is a good option.

We use the transponders in New Mexico for live timing and results it's great
You guys should come to Minnesota for the Qualifyer in Little Falls, practice is on Friday and Qualifyers are on Saturday and normal points race is on Sunday.
I would say keep lil on the supermini for another year and then move her up to a 250 . I also noticed that the rm 85 is taller than all of the other 85 . My little brother was 10 when we started looking at 85s for him about 2 years ago and he didn’t have trouble sitting on all the other 85’s but the rm was harder for him to touch the ground .

@@jkmotovlogs4544 the Suzuki’s seat height is 33.5 the same as the ktm , husky and gas gas . The yz’s seat height is 33.1 and the kawi is the shortest at 32.7 . I think you are right about the shock being stiffer making it higher.

Lillian needs a 125 2 stroke in my opinion its just the natural progression with her riding supermini unless she has a growth spurt ...? then maybe jump straight to 250F ..?
I just feel like she would naturally slide right into the 125 2 stroke similar power and type of power ....4-stroke is a whole new world all over ...2step forward 1step back?

I'd recommend putting Lillian on a 250 4-stroke before a 450. Going from a 125 2-stroke to a 250 4-stroke, carbureted to EFI is already a lot to get used to.

GasGas are great looking bikes I must say. Hope it all works out the way that is hoped for. I agree that Luke and Mason are perfect fits for their bikes and this is a time they can be having the most fun and growth as far as skills on their bikes. When I was a teenager my best friend raced against Emig and Stephenson on 80's and he was 5'9" and still on an 80 because he hadn't aged out. He ended up tearing an ACL because of catching one of his gangly legs in a corner and then moved up to a 125 when he was 16.
Dang 5’9” on an 80 would be tough. They were a lot smaller back in the day compared to the 85s of today. What a cool experience racing the big names on 80s 🤙🏻
@@VlogEpicness yeah they were a lot smaller then too. Luckily he had really skinny legs, so that kind of helped him still squeeze on the bike, but he definitely looked way too big for it. You would see that moreso then than you do now though, mainly on 80's where kids could ride them til 16 and many wanted to try to stay on them even after they started outgrowing them. There was another kid named Jay who also was too tall for his 80 back at the same time. Too tall Jay.

i think lillian definitely would get a lot faster on a big bike and she’s 100% big enough to have good body position and control over the bike

You know that 450 has spring rates for a 200 pounder, or a lighter pro, so a big bike with correct spring rate and sag, would fit her well.
I was 14 when I got my 250, I should’ve waiting atleast till I was 15. Big difference from 2 to 4 stroke.

Trying to keep it fun. No time for that and it’s not worth the energy. At least that’s what I’m trying to teach the kids.

Get Lillian on a 125 now she’s tall enough and her riding style will suit the bigger bike Luke needs to keep riding and pushing him self regardless of mistakes and crashes when he practices set his sites on s faster kid and chase him all day and mason chase luke all day on it will make them so much quicker coming from a ex uk national rider there progress can be seen in the videos

the hight doesnt matter for a big bike like a 250 four stroke its weather she can hanndle the power. Id say get a 125 2 stroke for her then get a 250 four stroke it might ebsafer than just going straight to a big bike
If anything a 250 is safer since the power doesn’t just hit you and they are basically the same anyways

I guess I got moved up way too early because when I got my 125 as a kid i had to stand beside it to take off. As i grew i could handle the bike very well. I also didn't race like the kids do. I was just pretty good at woods riding and huge hill climbing.
For woods riding I bet you could really use the extra power for the hills
