Even though the figure of The Thing is a bit outdated by today's standards, it does have a certain charm and appeal. What it lacks in articulation, it more than makes up for it when it comes to its sheer size. It's big and bulky, which justifies its price tag. However, the cardboard backdrop is way too small in scale when compared to The Thing. Diamond Select are usually really good when it comes to diorama displays and this is unfortunately one of the few times when that's simply not the case. With that aside, thanks as always Spot for another great video. I really appreciate the continued hard work. Keep it up!
Diamond select makes some of the best display stands to date.... Well some of them. This back drop stand is really not sized right. It's nice to see them re releaseing figures. More people will have a chance to pick them up. It's not a bad thing.
Same with me. I sold this figure a long time ago only to buy him again about a couple of months ago when saw him at my local comic shop. I'm a fan of Ben. I do wish that Marvel Select will make an updated version of him with better aesthetics proportions and articulation. I think it's about time Ben gets an update like his sparring partner the Hulk. His buddy the Human Torch is being released this coming year along with new Hulks and Iron man figs. I hope that Ben gets some love as well.

It is awesome that we got this rerelease. I hope we get the Ultimate Venom or Mephisto as the next rerelease for Diamond Select.

Great vid! Got mine at my comic store, too. Thanks for showing the stand's purpose. I thought it combined with other pieces to make something. Even though it's an older figure, I friggin love this Thing!

I like it and not so dated..... I wish Marvel Select will update The Thing Figure, like what they have did with the HULK.
Have you compared this Thing to either of the recently released Marvel legend Things? How does it stand up next to the other 3 ML Fantastic four figures preferably the Walgreens release?
