今のムックはライブで陰鬱、ポップ、壮大、幸福等を自由に行き来できる技量・表現力のレベルに達してる。それに加えてどの時期の曲も違和感なくセットリストに入り込む。変わったって言われるけど、根本的な所は変わってないんじゃないかな。

Not really, they were late. They played new metal kind of music almost 10 years after it emerged.
After all those years, this is still one of my favourite live videos. It's perfect! I totally get goosebumps when the refrain kicks in and the band does an amazing job as well.

I miss Satochi... so much. The drummer they have now, has no soul. He's just 'a drummer'. Mucc doesn't even include him in their latest pictures...and for good reason. Mucc will never be the same without Satochi, I'll still listen to their music, but it's not the same. I hope Satochi is healthy and happy. I think he knows that we all miss him, but want what's best for him as well.
Thank you for your comment. I was feeling not many people notice this point. Satochi got a special _groove_, it's unique and something that cannot be copy. Based on interviews, it seems like he was unconfident about his drumming.

I knew this band for a long time but was never really a fan. Some years ago I found this video and it blew me away. Changed my opinion of them, been in love since that moment and they became my favourite band. So unique and amazing with everything they do

I can think of no other band that has as much personality as Mucc. True personality, not fake VK stuff that I've seen as late. Tatsuro, Yukke, Miya and Satochi are pure.

Japanese audiences are usually subdued because it's their way of showing respect for the artists. It's great, because you can actually enjoy watching a live show, and not have to listen to everyone screaming. The audience does the screaming in between songs. Or they sing along. Watch Daikirai live at the Winter, that's a great way to learn about the audience reactions. There is a version of this song with English subtitles.

Mucc shouldn't even be catagorized as rock any more, there is no jrock band out there as unique and fresh as mucc. Every album of theirs sound different for the good, it just works so perfectly for them. Some other band try new things and they just fail so bad. >_>gazette really angry how this band is sooooo underrated soo tired of hearing all these teeny boopers saying gazette is the best band out there when it's the only band they've heard :p real talk
I agree! You can't put Mucc in any one genre...just doesn't work. There's no worry that Mucc will ever be stale. They evolve album to album. I love that about this band. Some days I want "Tonight", other days I want the heavy stuff like Ware... and then all sorts of stuff in between. Amazing band. Nice to look at for female fans, but not screamy shit like some of the VK bands. VK has it's place I guess, but the fangirls tend to ruin it for me. Just personally that is.
YungBasedOnion No, they're still a rock band. I always think that MUCC as Japanese version of RHCP. Recognizable vocal, killer basslines, that guitar skills and that drumming, they're exactly the shadow of RHCP. Yes RHCP don't really that heavy, but they also not that simple. So does MUCC. So, basically MUCC still a rock band.
RHCP could only WISH to bet this good or innovated. I've been watching RHCP from before they had a record deal...they were good, then they stalled. Every album sounds the same, Kiedis's vocal range is nowhere near Tatsu's. He can never have the gut wrenching sound, and to compare the two is ludicrous. You can't compare anything RHCP has done, regardless of the bass line, the drum, etc. to what Mucc does. RHCP had an innovative sound, for oh, the first 3 albums. Once Hillel died, that shut them down. Every album sounded the same. Mucc changes, constantly. You have songs like Nirvana, Falling Down sounding very main stream. Then you have Ware Arubeki Basho, Ender Ender, Libra, then switch over to Joker, Marble and Tonight with Aki, totally different. I grew up in HB, started watching RHCP play tiny clubs, finally getting to play the Hollywood Palladium, getting together with George Clinton, all of that shit. In my 56 years, with 42 years of going to shows, I can tell you, Mucc is in a class by themselves. No American band can touch them.

Come on, guys! You don't need to detract tG to claim MUCC. They are different bands, both with their own original styles. For me, Ruki and Tataurou have one of best voices on j-rock scene. Like MUCC, GazettE has touching lyrics, and a deep feeling on each melodies. Each one own its way.
