The Getaway | Full Longplay Walkthrough | 1440p + Subtitles

Full game of The Getaway played with PCSX2 emulator with english and spanish CC subtitles and no commentary.
This is a action-adventure game released in 2002. The story is based on 2 characters, the first is Hammond, an ex-criminal with a quiet life in which a boss kidnaps his son and blackmails him into doing dirty jobs around the city. And on the other hand we have Carter who is a policeman who wants to end the crimes that pass through the city and will investigate his corrupt police chief who expels him from the case and he will try to find out what is happening.
Longplays100 Rating: I really fell in love with this game, I loved the story and the cool details, it's incredible for a PS2 game. In fact my first game was the sequel to this one called Black Monday and I had never played the first one but I always like to start from the beginning and it surprised me. I played it with the PS2 emulator and it works great although some cinematics are like slowmotion sometimes so for those cases in the "Emulation" section, you have to set the "EE Cycle Rate" to 60% and it's solved. For the rest of the game I used 100%. Something that might be missing is that compared to Black Monday, this one doesn't have a map and you have to follow the directions of the car (not very precise) but the positive point is that it's more complicated and "realistic", it's very normal to die multiple times in certain missions. Also sorry that some cinematics have no sounds but they had copyrighted songs and I had to remove them :( I knew they would have that problem but there was no option to turn off music in the cinematics, only the gameplay.
