the most interesting limited edition console that scott overlooked is the divers 2000 cx-1 dreamcast tv combo. its a weird sonic shaped tv that doubles as a dreamcast.

I remember when I was a kid I actually really wanted that Hot wheels PC, unfortunately my parents told me no, but asked me what the Hot Wheels PC could do that our Windows '95 couldn't? That was the end of the conversation right there.
(Around 25:40) Apparently that went up for auction recently, or something along those lines I just noticed it on a news article but didn't bother to look into it.
7:00 that's one of the reason why I hate Pokemon card these days because it went from using it for actual trading card to people just buying them and selling it for the equivalent of 3 PS5 and we got people like Logan Paul basically telling everyone that buy all the old school Charizard which for me I just don't care
the micro came out round the same time as the ds, it was more of a novalty

Yeah I remember having a gamestop or just a vdieo game magazine and i remember going through pages to just stumble across those promotion product that takes up both left and right pages and you know it's a big thing.
The Halo 3 Xbox 360 edition.
I wanted that, i begged my mom for that. and when it came to release, I got it. many years later, the console still works it's just that once you start up a game it shuts off and red ring of death shows.
It has been a great console to me now it's a ancient artifact.

I have the Super Mario 3D World deluxe box for Wii U. It was cool. Just wish they put a design on the console and DIDN'T add Nintendo World as one of the 2 free games.
There's also two Dreamcast limited edition consoles for Resident Evil Code: Veronica.

I have the triforce new 3ds. It is customized however. I gorilla taped 2 handles i acquired by hacksawing the joy controller things grips off and attaching them to the side of the 3ds. Completely destroying the ability to fit it in my pocket, however it is now actually comfortable to use.

Still don't know how Nintendo hasn't given the Switch and Dock swappable Face Plates like the Micro/3DSXL, such wasted potential.
Also I'm still pissed they decided to make a Black and Gold Switch Lite with Dialga and Palkia on it paying homage to the DS Lite Variant, but then just said "Nah that'll stay on the Lite, we're never putting it on a Switch/OLED..."
