FAQ:
How long do you bleach? 45 minutes to an hour. And I sit under the dryer for 15-20 minutes.
How often do you bleach? 2x a month.
Do you tone? Not often.
Do you need purple shampoo? If you want your hair bright - yes.
Does toning help remove yellow undertones? Yes.
What do I do if I keep bleaching but it isn’t platinum? Go to a professional hair stylist/color professional.

Came out good and effortless but you only need 20V with the Wella toner.
You're right, I went to cosmetology school 10v or 20v never 30 and the bleaching powder is always 1 part and 2 parts developer meaning if you use 2 oz of powder use 4 oz of developer same for toner hope this helps someone

Pretty!! Question does toner make your hair dry and brittle? I use a toner my hair is brittle and dry what can I use to make it back soft?
I use toner and I deep condition immediately after.

how long are you leaving your bleach in with kinks n coils? do you feel like there’s a shorter leave in time than the schwartzkopf? (that’s the one i currently use)

@@justcoilsnolye Thanks. I actually leave mine in for 1 hour and 15 minutes, too, but I honestly don't think it needs to be in that long for me. I just started using that bleach. I find it to be strong. 😳 Before I was using that blue bleach you find in the beauty supply store. I forget the name of it. But I switched to the Schwartzkopf last month.
@@THREERIVERSCUTIE i know exactly what you’re talking about! i think it’s called like clear blue or something. i honestly just started cutting and bleaching my own hair back in february, so i’m technically still a rookie at it lol but i think i’ve been doing a decent job so far! i say lessen the time and see how you feel!
@@justcoilsnolye I started bleaching mine in November 2023, right before Thanksgiving. I'm still playing around with different methods. I bleach again this Friday. I think I'm going to lessen the time to an hour but I'm also going to try her method of sitting under the dryer for 15-20 minutes, too.

Does the bleach straighten your curl pattern? If not, what can I use to straighten my curl pattern a little,but not damage my hair?
It straightens my curl pattern, I would suggest consulting with a professional for a treatment that can help with texture and pattern but is still safe to use with color.
