  • Do you use a 3V Dice set? If so, Which one? If you are fairly new to this game, one of the first dice sets you use is a 3V set. Did you know that there are more than one and they are not the same? Some with different SRR characteristics! Her I try to break them down so you can see how each is different, and most importantly, how the 7s are moved with each dice set.

Dice usually turn more than once on the wall rebound and often in contradictory directions, therefore it all boils down to maintaining strict grip and velocity control.

Was at Mohegan Sun Saturday 15 dollar table bought in for 500, 3 v set one and two facing me rolled 19 times 3 points made, lots of nines, and hard eights, made 600 and ran out the door, came back sunday, same 3 V set with 1 and 2 facing me Established the point and immediately sevened out, stayed for my turn again established the point rolled the 5,6, and ten and sevened out lost 400, the tables at Mohegan are so bouncy that even on a controlled throw the die can and will bounce into the chip rack or out of the tub completely, the 3 v set as described above produced a lot of sevens on my table at home and i have the underlayment made with a rubber mat over craps table felt to try and simulate the awful bounce at Mohegan. Now testing the 4-4 2-2 set which i recall having some luck with and also 6-6 5-5 with the pinch toss.... It should be noted that the fellow next to me randomly whipped the dice down table knocking over chips (we were at the far end} and he had the dice for about ten minutes or so and made 3 points..... Exasperated at The Mohegan Sun..

It’s crazy how this game goes isn’t it! On fire one day, can’t get a thing. Heck I’ve had half day where I couldn’t do a thing, then hit the ATS twice before bed. It’s the best, and at time most frustrating game out there!!

It matters so much the toss , I use the 3 v 1-2 in front , if I toss a the dice with limited rotation about a foot higher than rail and land it where I want I can roll for ever with out a 7 , but no pitcher can throw 100 strikes in a row same for dice , too hard , too easy too long or short it’s where you need luck , but practice is key , thanks for going over these love your channel

@@Roll2Win Well, there's 128 V-3 permutations, you probably would overflow your cameras to show them all; my favorite is the 2336 (that's Top, Top, Front, Front nomenclature) using the more frequent convention that's 2/3, 3/6. Or Richard's notation: 2-3/3-6. It crushes 6s and 8s for me and also has strong secondary results on the 4s & 10s. I was using other V-3 mutants until I started transposing my rolls in Bonetracker, where I saw the 2336 analytics, tested it on my table with positive results and now its my first go to set for 6s and 8s.
