Traxxas X-Maxx VXL 8S ESC Power Connector Replacement with XT90

Replacing the traxxas vxl 8s esc traxxas id connectors with xt90 connectors for use with 4s lipo battries.
VXL 8s ESC is used on the X-Maxx and XRT and to use aftermarket battries the connectors on the esc need to be swaped with replacement connectors like XT90, EC5 or QS8.

you put the heat shrink to close to the connector, stop 1-2mm before the plastic of the connector starts. the unused connector of the ESC is used for the optional light kit.

Hi, I could have spent some time and installed the heat shrink but then didn't feel it absolutely necessary so left it. I see so the led module is connected to the esc then. Thanks for watching 👍

Charger will be worthless, u have to get another charger that fits the battery ends...
