Ehhh, even though it’s classified as a strike ultimate (which doesn’t make sense), the main damage comes from Ki Blasts. If you have a higher Ki Blast stat, Divine Lasso does a lot more damage. If you have a higher Strike Super stat, Divine Lasso doesn’t do as much damage. It doesn’t make sense to have it as a Strike Ultimate, tbh. That’s like saying Super Black Kamehameha should be a Strike Ultimate because of the punch at the beginning.

I thought they changed Spirit Sword to allow for limit bursting or using some evasives? I thought something with Spirit Sword was changed during DLC 16's update, but I guess I'm thinking of something else.
One thing people forget Apocalyptic Burst is able to do Is that you can Charge it, and if you do so, you can break your opponents guard. So you can use it to Punish certain Ultimates
even tho Spirit Sword is #1 on this list, you won't see it used too often because of the short range, and worse, your opponent can just immediately use their evasive and break your stamina before you even swing the Sword.

Gotta disagree with spirit sword imo Good damage but the entire ultimate attack is pretty slow and so it's hard to use it after a combo. If you use it at the beginning they'll get all their stamina back and you'll only hit with the ultimate so that's not good either
I've also found that Spirit Sword and Divine Lasso do pretty much the same damage (at least on my build), so I usually go with the latter which is one bar cheaper

You should do a PVP focused top 5 list also. In PVP, you can just hold guard against sword of hope and wait for an attack to land on your guard and then press the grab input. The sword of hope user, having no way to guard break or grab you, has no counterplay. So sword of hope is useless in PVP except against noobs who don't know about that easy counterplay.
@@slappygurt right, but if his opponents knew that simple counter, there would've been nothing cg could've done. It's clear that cg sometimes uses newer players for demonstration purposes, but sometimes that means his points miss the mark massively, like saying something is good for pvp that isnt.
@@amqru No it’s not Symphonic destruction does crap damage and it’s short range and animation time doesn’t make it worth it. Same goes with assault rain so no some moves are still garbage in PVE
