In my opinion none of the videos or photos I have seen really show how gorgeous this watch is in real life. I saw this watch at my Grand Seiko dealer and before I left the store I put a deposit on it and said I would be back in a couple of days to pick it up. The titanium with the soft shimmer of pink and silver of the dial is a match made in heaven, very beautiful yet subtle at the same time. This watch will stay with me until the end of my time on this planet and may very well be on my wrist the day I die. P.S. I will note however this video does portray this watch better than any other video on CZcams that I have seen, truly outstanding videography.
For my first high end watch I am super torn between Rolex and Grand Seiko, the dial and spring drive are just insane, I'm not there yet but a really really hard choice!
You only had to wait 2 months? This IS an astonishing watch, with surprise reflections reminding you of the joy of watchmaking. It is extremely comfortable on the wrist, too.
Yes, good relation with my AD and just pure luck as I probably ordered when only 1 or 2 people were ahead of me. Most AD's are saying 6 months is average wait time but now it's nearing 1 year. Truly is an amazing watch!
Congratulations on this beautiful time piece. Its simply stunning. I'm currently trying to obtain the 415 winter, however I live in the UK. I've emailed GS USA but haven't had a reply 😕
Thank you, it is probably my most beautiful watch! winter is also amazing, I have handled that one before. I would suggest finding online dealers on chrono24 and you may be able to source one.
@@simonwright6882 As long as you purchase from someone who has the box and papers and they purchased it pretty recently, you should have the full 3 year warranty and all service centers will honor that. All they want to see is the warranty card still within date in order to service it.
What’s your feedback on the band? I just tried it on at the dealer near me and it felt SO cheap. Very light weight as it is titanium. Easily scratchable too. I’m not sure I can get over the cheap feel of the bracelet
I felt exactly like that when I first went into an AD to try one on. I had to go back to the AD multiple times to try it on and get a better feel for it. It wasn't until I placed an order and received it that I finally got a good feel for it and could properly examine it and determine it was definitely high quality. I feel like you can't get a good grasp of how it feels until you get it at your house and can get a good feel for it without worrying about people around you and them watching you/waiting for you to take it off. I also noticed it's hard to make it out when it is covered in stickers.
@@watchyoulove you might have a point there. It seems tough in front of the salesman’s to make sense of the $6300 price while the band feels cheap on the wrist. I told him that was my reaction and he said then I would recommend waiting for the stainless one. He said it’s likely GS will make a version or similar watch with stainless steel so heavier. He wasn’t trying to sell me which was nice. Also what do you think about the pink dial? Does it come off as to feminine to you at times? Like as a daily watch and wearing it to the gym, swimming, going out dining/bars, does it work 24/7 or are there times it feels like “damn this is pink and doesn’t feel right” ?
@@stunnavlogs1512 It doesn't look pink at all unless you are fixing the angles and getting the light to shine on it at just the right time, then and only then will you notice a slight sheen of pink, otherwise it looks silver all day. You can wear it everywhere and it plays the casual/dress role very well. This could very easily be a one watch collection contender and winner!
Excellent choice! I was just about to send an entire paragraph of why the 413 is nicer. Seeing it in person makes the snowflake look so dull by comparison!
Horrible experience with their customer service with this watch. After a day of use, a pin on a non-removable link was broken, and the bracelet a bit loose. I sent it under warranty and they said it was not covered not admitting it was defective. A true shame, I wanted to really start a Grand Seiko collection. Service not on par for a luxury brand.
Sorry about your bad experience, I believe it varies and you must've just gotten a bad rep to help you out :/ I wouldn't knock off the entire brand (any brand) based off of that one experience if it only involved one individual who was probably in a bad mood. Not talking for GS but I wouldn't scratch them off the list just yet. Everyone deserves a second chance (within reason)!

Got mine last month. It's my favorite watch in my collection.
My grail watch!
The most beautiful watch I've ever seen 😮
I have the summer version and it's just so worth it; easily the best looking watch I own.
I've owned them all, and this is my favorite piece by far. $36,000 cheaper than my 2nd favorite piece (Royal Oak)
How does it honestly compare to your ap in terms of build quality fit/finish?
@@oscarmurillo8472 It'll probably be on par with an AP, to be completely honest, but again, AP is a lot more prestigious
Just had mine delivered. Absolutely stunning. Thrilled to death.
That's the most beautiful watch I've ever witnessed
It's even more beautiful in person!

I'd lean towards Grand Seiko, much more unique!
Eine Wunderschöne Uhr die Seiko 😎👍
Lovely watch. This one is on my list!

Haha yeah man this watch is highly sought after just like the current steel sports models by Rolex.
Gorgeous!
Really great video!!!
Thank you, Glad you liked it!

They do pop up on chrono 24 however I'm not sure about the warranty if I purchase from there.

Many thanks.
I ordered my Spring version through Hodinkee, arriving today in NL.
Nice review! What is your wrist size for reference please?
6.5"

Where did you order this from Sir
Grand Seiko boutique! most any dealer should be able to order it for you
Trying to decide between the SBGA413 and the SGBA211 (snowflake). Help me!
Decided. Will go for a SBGA413. Thanks for the nudge!

Shame the caseback is defaced yet again with that atrocious logo.
I can overlook it as the movement is still highly visible, but I can see where people would be bothered by it.
