Sublime. This shows how adaptable and universal Khachaturian's music is. I hear melodic lines that I have never heard before. And she so obviously loves what she is doing. If I didn't know any better, I would swear this had to be two pianos, four hands.
Now I have listened to this several more times, and I'm sharing it with friends who are equally as enthralled. Karine puts her fingers to the keys and the glorious sounds flow out with seemingly effortless grace, although this music clearly is not effortless.
Khachaturian is universal. This piece speaks to the soul and your playing is exceptional 👏👏👏

I saw both your inner and outer beauty expressed so sublimely through Khachaturian, the Armenian genius, it feels like you are expressing, are deeply in his soul, his
music with such depth,
sensitivity.
I just watched the PDD from his Spartacus ballet, equally wonderful with 2 great Russian dancers, from Bolshoi Anna Nikulina and Mikhail Lobhukin. Nina Kaptsova also great ballerina..Also extraordinary.

Absolutely brilliant performance! I am in awe as a listener and even more in awe as a musician! If I could play 1/8th as well as you it would be a monumental accomplishment in my life. I am sentenced to practice law so I never had the chops to make it as a real musician so I watch at the sidelines and live vicariously through your talent. To supplement, your facial dynamics are as important to the performance as your playing. Very much enjoyed how you got deeply into the performance. I would keep that as an integral part of your playing but I suspect you already knew that as it appears unconscious and quite natural and fitting to the performance. I am glad you chose to make the US your residence. We need many more of you here to bring culture to us! Subscribed to your channel without a thought.

Aram Khachatryan (1903-1978) was a composer from the former Soviet Union.
. People's Artist of the USSR. Along with Prokofiev and Shostakovich, he is one of the main Soviet composers.
When I watch the ballet. my attention wanders with a dancer. I can't concentrate on the beauty of the melody. On the other hand, you can enjoy this folk tune just by playing it on the piano. You have interpreted the most beautiful melody of this composer's legacy with great emotion and expressiveness. My heart warmed when I felt the love for your country and this composer.

I can imagine standing on the sea listening to it and the waves just splashing on the rocks.
The most beautiful rendition on CZcams, played with thoughtfulness and expression. Khachaturian's Adagio from Spartacus and Phrygia was the theme music from the old TV series, The Onedin Line, and your playing evoked fond memories of my childhood in the 1970s when I watched it. Thank you!
