"Hurricane" ending lyrics by Eden Golan.
The song sparked a lot of controversy due to the original lyric containing direct references to the October 7, 2023 attack of Hamas on Israel and the following Israel-Hamas war.
The song is originally called "October Rain" and hence the words of Netanyahu of "Never Again" throughout the song.
"Never again" to "hold me again."

The judges gave her nothing. The audience all over the world gave her 325 points!!
They probably gave her a lot more than that. If she'd won there would have been riots all night long and her life would have been in danger. Lord knows what that might have led to. And Israel won't be allowed to stage this show, which would have been the case if she'd won. She was never going to be permitted to win.
There will be no judges next time...much better results without them

Eden, who is only 20 years old, had to sing the song "Hurricane" in front of an audience of thousands of haters who shouted at her and booed her during the entire song, And She stood up to it bravely and with dignity.

She was amazing vocally and she transmits a lot, which is the most hard thing to do. The fact that she was being abused by the public and her own “colleagues”, just for wanting to sing like all of them did, made her the winner. And the public vote spoke. ✨

The jury members judged Israel before the performance even began. They judged her based on the flag she was representing. One jury member here in Norway came forward and admitted it. His name is Daniel Owens. Luckily the rest of our jury members were better and gave Israel 8 points.
And she received 12 points from almost everyone on the popular vote. The cowardly jury robbed her of the points but regular normal people showed their love

No, not the 1 who admitted of his political voting, but from the fact that Norway’s jury (not the people, we know that most of the sane people do support us across Europe) gave us 8 points, that really was a moment of hope… Although, only very few juries were honest at the end ❤

There are only around 1500 Jews living in Norway, which means most of the votes came from the rest of us: just regular people who don't judge someone based on their religion or nationality. And if we didn't have a radical left-wing media that constantly sides with Hamas, she would've probably gotten even more. What added to her performance was her bravery and resilience; she stood there in the middle of all the hate and she didn't even flinch. That alone made her deserving of every point she got. It was a performance in itself. It made me so happy to see the world come together and boo back at the audience and jury.

She had to be escorted by a prime minister level motorcade with the Israeli secret service bodyguards, she was not allowed to leave her hotel and the whole delegation was moved to a different hotel because the lovely Irish contestant, didn’t want to share a floor with them (I’ll let you guess why..).
She made all other acts look very amateur. If it weren't for politics, she would have won. Our bambi thing was absolutely embarrassing. Much love for this girl from 🇮🇪

She lived in Moscow for a long time. Participated in the “Voice.Children” competition with Igor Krutoy on “New Wave”. Wonderful voice! Eden represented Israel well. We were very worried about her. The situation around was tense. Thank God it's all over. The audience gave her second place.
There was a lot of booing and also much applause. I really believe that this song got high cuz many people saw the huge talent and felt for this young girl who received so much hate.

I loved Eden Golan's presentation. Like all of us who respect the work of artists, we were nervous about the initial boos. However, watching Eden Golan sing without fear was totally gratifying. That gave me a lot of peace of mind. He did a good job despite those who wanted to ruin his months of work!

Phenomenally powerful and professional performance given the hatred which was tangible and especially during the final when she was consistently howled down from start to finish. For all the brilliance of the song, the lyricism, the vocal, the staging, it is that piano melody that does it for me.

This song tells the story of the Nova music festival where 364 young people were brutally murdered by terrorists on October 7th. The singer and the dancers represent the souls of those young people. Her dress represents bandages of the wounded. The orange half disc at the back of the stage represents half risen sun - the sunrise - the terrorists' attack started with sunrise at 6:30.
The hurricane - probably means that the events of October 7th were unfolding fast and devastatingly like a hurricane. Devastating mentally as well.
