I believe the Helaena and Aegon’s actors said the scene at the stairwell was meant to show that even though these two people have so much in common: a marriage, blood, children, and are now grieving the same loss on a level no one else can understand… they are still unable to communicate or be there for one another. It’s a HUGE thing among the greens, with Aemond airing his feelings out to a prostitute rather than to his own family or mother, Alicent feeling shunned by Otto’s refusal to listen to her, and Aegon weeping alone while his mother walks out on him. Without a hand on his back or even a hug. I was not even slightly surprised at Alicent walking out on Aegon. If you remember, he asked his mother if she loved him last season and was also neglected by his father. It’s really complicated with Alicent’s children. These complicated dynamics are precisely why I’m Team Green xD I just enjoy them a lot more. That said, I love your insight! You have much to say and you’ve not fallen too deep into the “choosing sides” thing where you refuse to feel anything for certain characters :) Makes for a fun watch!
That would make sense, I’m sure that with as much as Helaena and Aegon has been through together they have a bond - but it’s true, the greens have such complicated family dynamic and they cannot talk to each other or even rely on each other. As we have seen Alicent grow up since her early teens it’s hard not to feel for her despite everything that has happened up until this point. She’s probably one of the loneliest characters in the show, and all she’s been through obviously affect her kids and leave them without a solid person to confide in. I love seeing both families and even though I’m leaning towards team black (not fully as you say haha), I think the greens are extremely interesting and terrifying haha! I’m glad you are enjoying the reactions, thank you so much for watching them!!🥰
@@kylecasey7010 He still had 10 years tho. When he build this thing. Or let's take it on episodes. In ep 6-7 they were kinda old enough for him to have some time with them. Between ep 7 and 8 (before his health degenerated) he could spend some time with them. Just saying, he was a big part of why these kids are messed up.
He did spend a lot of time on it that’s true, and maybe a little too much instead of being an active part of the kids life. At least in the beginning before he got really sick that is. I think he just trusted everyone around him so much that he believed them all to be good people. He was a good king and father, but maybe not the most attentive one which is what these kids seemed to really need. Still felt a bit sad to see it go.
Well Aegon said he don't want to seen as weak, so I can understand why he can't say everything that he feels and that's why he's crying alone. It's obvious that he loves his family and especially his children.
True, I wish he was able to show his family what he feels though but they don’t really have that kind of family. I for sure believe he lives his family, you can see how devastating this was for him.
Daemon did say exactly where he was going on the scene with Rhaenyra; he's also mentioned previously that that's going to be where he'll be heading. Someone else has also mentioned that they'll be heading there.
This is a radically different situation. Aemond is a murderer now. And not just a murderer, but a kinslayer, one of the worst things possible in this society. And you are arguing against him getting punished for it. It's a far cry from a children's scuffle that ended in an injury. Daemon clearly gave Blood and Cheese the direction to take "a son for a son". We know this because Blood quoted him on that. So we do in fact know that they did have contingency orders.
I don’t think Aemond intended to kill Luke if that’s what you’re referring to. Not saying he would actually do it, but I don’t believe he planned to. I’m also not saying he should be punished. I’m saying I don’t believe in a son for a son, which is different. What Daemon does is always a bit of a mystery. I think with him it *could* mean different things, either him not caring or him wanting blood, or even just not thinking before speaking. Either way it wasn’t exactly the best way of putting it if that truly wasn’t his intention.
@@CoraReacts Oh, Daemon's plan to get "a son for a son, any will do" surely is not the way to go. I was talking about Rhaenyra's reaction of wanting Aemond very specifically. She was justified in her reaction, especially since she knew nothing about his intentions. And they matter little, he still is guilty in the end...

As of s2 Aegon is literally the most compelling character to watch its crazy.
Definitely the best character in team green for sure
It’ll be interesting to see who he grows in to that’s for sure

Felt so GOOD when Aegon destroyed that sht. Viserys should've spend more time with his children, instead of building that.
He was chronically ill. It was probably dangerous for him to spend time outside his chambers for a large portion of his life.

He build them in episode 1 2 dumbass by episode 6 7 he barely could stand@@iustinmatei5655

Daeron is the third son of Alicent and Viserys he should be 15
I totally missed that they had another son, so interesting!
Hi Cora, love it, what an episode hey. Subbed! xx😊
Hiii, thank you so much!! I’m glad you enjoyed it too🥰

I just wasn’t sure if he meant that he was truly going there, or if I were but now wouldn’t. 👀
aye, just a quick question. i noticed you're watching supernatural, should i start watching it? is it really good?
I am watching it! It’s amazing, I love that show so much. Highly recommend it!
Hi Cora!! I hope you are well!! 💖💖👋👋🤗🤗

When "reacting" turns into speaking out loud every thought...
The evil in Daemon’s heart is outstanding
I don’t think he’s purely evil but he does some really bad things and he is very unpredictable
Daeron is bonded with the young dragon Tessarion
Oooh he even has a dragon 👀
