Oh, the pledge drive thank you gifts during the kids shows. Everything else were tote bags, umbrellas, VHS tapes, and an occasional tickets to a show. But when seeing the ones for the kids shows, it felt like walking through a PBS Kids gift shop of sorts. It felt wonderful.

PBS isn't first in line to air Bill Nye's show as a weekly syndication. You must be upset with how it never gave Ghostwriter a rating.

When I started the video and saw the Wishbone closing credits at the beginning I felt like a kid again. Thank you so much. I still have my old Wishbone VHS tapes like the one shown in the pledge drive segment but still wish reruns would come back to PBS because I don't think I've seen every episode of Wishbone there ever was. I used to have a Wishbone plush as a kid too and I think it was just like the one being advertised. I also used to have that exact same Wishbone shirt they advertised. I wish there were Wishbone shirts for 23 year olds. I think I was four years old when this aired so I guess that's why I dont remember pledge drive season. Also thanks for showing the Bill Nye intro. I may have seen that show a couple of times as a kid but probably not every day. Anyway the theme song is iconic.

Hey Ethan, I think I finally narrowed the date down on this video, The Date is: Tuesday August 20, 1996. And in case if you didn't know, that while most PBS member stations (i.e. WNET, WGBH & WQED) continued showing WITWICS? reruns through October 4, 1996. Some PBS member stations (including Vermont ETV & NHPTV in which I get both, I'm from VT by the way) decided to drop it earlier on May 31, 1996, in order to make room for "Kratts' Creatures" and to announce WITWICS?'s successor show WITICS? which would debut on October 7, 1996.
