I loved this! You put into words what I instinctively know but can't say as well as you just did. Thank you for being the voice of those of us who feel these things. You understand!

🥹 Thank you so much ❤️ I honestly used to think I'm not even allowed to say it out loud to myself like it's not even a big deal but now I think it's okay to confess your struggles 😁I think that helps you move forward.

Yes well said this is such an important thing to discuss and talk about because , majorly it’s the first step which is the most hard one , and it requires utmost calm and precision to connect to one’s creative side , I believe everyone is creative in their own ways in their own things , the struggle lies in the subtle psychological battle of taking that first step and thereafter coping with dopamine loss and maintaining consistency until the creative bulb 💡 finally lights up . And yes just like u said before hitting the record button there is whole lot of mental business running up to that very point, that’s why they say creation is a silent process .

I had added the part when I say "i believe everyone is creative in one way or another" but had to trim it later 😁 yess I do agree with every you said. I do believe that resting helps out a lot as well. When you aren't "productively resting" I mean 😐

I guess we all feel that way in some area or another. I almost always feel like I got lucky if I achieve something 😐 it's a journey i guess 😁

I also have a suggestion. The best book on creativity that I ever read is called: "Criatividade e processos de criação" from Fayga Ostrower. Unfortunately, there isn't an english translation, only the portuguese version.

You know I usually respond privately... but I did share link to this on my facebook and on a quora post... I definitely think you're a creative person and not an imposter... you know I fell in love with your writing more than 5 years ago
I think you know my ex of 15 years was a musician... she was a semi-professional soloist at one time, she was a beautiful singer. she could play guitar and piano, but not at the same level. She said that she couldn't play drums, but I had to believe her... I couldn't tell from listening to her play.... I remember when she asked if I could recognize her in an old black and white kindergarten class photo. Of course I recognized her, but I didn't have to. I just had to know "where she would be".... in the front and in the center... that's where she was her whole life!
I'd never accuse her of not being creative, but I still think she was an imposter in another way. Some people present themselves well, but it doesn't necessarily mean they are authentic... she knew how to present herself to impress people... but that doesn't mean she was a good person. Ok, I won't spread negativity... but I do think it's possible to be a very creative imposter.... and not being creative doesn't mean you are. I think possibly being creative and possibly being an imposter are separate issues. Nevertheless, I do think you're creative, and don't think you're an imposter.
you don't think coding is creative? I think there certainly can be creativity involved. I would be a lot further along with Hindi2.com and english2desi.com if I had your coding skills... I have a dream for my websites, and I'm working to make it come true with people who can help me... and I might never be as successful as I am in my dreams, but I'm learning a lot of things... and I appreciate my support network...anyways the coding experience is good... and you can express your creativity on places like creating youtube videos as well.
I have doubted myself in the past... but don't currently... at least not in the same ways... I believe in a lot of possibilities... even if they don't ever happen... and sometimes it's ok if stuff doesn't happen... but I do what I can.
I don't think of myself as a perfectionist... but I do know there's a gap between my dreams and reality. I do have higher expectations for my websites than one might guess by looking... but I believe I'm making progress... even if it's always slower than I prefer. My current dream kind of started with wanting to learn Hindi... and turned into wanting to build a multilingual educational website and teach English.. and I probably would have learned more Hindi by now if I stayed focused on that... long story I guess... but I definitely. think creativity and coding are involved... and so is my multilingual ex in a way.... English wasn't her primary language, or even her second choice... MAYBE 3rd or 4th... and music was "just another language to her". Maybe someday, Hindi2.com will help people overcome language barriers
Early phase of creative journey and haven't achieved much in life? It's not always better when you still haven't accomplished what you would like at a later stage There's more hope for you, by the time you're my age, I expect you'll accomplish more than I have. It's definitely true that a lot of work goes into the development of Hindi2.com and English2Desi.com that an observer wouldn't suspect.
At this point, I do have ideas that I like... and I am trying to execute my ideas... and I do like what I'm doing... and I like what you're doing here... stay with it... don't question yourself
