Sorry but there is only KATHNIEL, NO LOVE TRIANGLE. When Kathryn was asked about Part 2, she said it all depends on Daniel Padilla, her boy friend of 7 years and counting. She also said NO to Love Triangle. She jokingly said, make it a LOVE SQUARE WITH DJ (for her) AND MAINE (for Alden). Why are we so bent on destroying what Daniel and Kathryn have together? Are the people NOT satisfied with the relationship breakdown / breakup of Bea-Gerald-Julia that they want to mess with what Daniel and Kathryn have together? The real love-life relationship of DJ and Kathryn is a very rare and blessed one ---- ONE REAL GREAT TRUE LOVE!
Let it be clear to the people ----
From the very beginning, the Kathniel fandom was given assurance that the Kathniel Love Team will always be there. DJ had said that he does NOT see Kathryn and himself having separate Love Teams. There is NO KathDen! KATHRYN AND ALDEN ARE NOT LOVETEAM. THEY ARE NOT A COUPLE. THERE ARE OTHER PERSONS INVOLVED IN THIS MOVIE TEAM UP --- KATHRYN'S REAL BOYFRIEND DANIEL PADILLA AND ALDEN'S MAINE MENDOZA. BOTH KATHRYN AND ALDEN HAVE THEIR OWN LOVETEAMS - THE KATHNIEL AND THE ALDUB LOVETEAMS.
Lets STOP having and giving false hope and STOP creating intrigues. Also, NO sequel for the movie please. NO Part 2!!! The movie has served its purpose. The ending was one of the factors why it was a success. It was not an ordinary feel-good movie but a real life situation with self-sacrifice and redeeming component which most people can relate to. A Part 2 will only kill the story. The audience need to realize that it's time to get real and move on. Furthermore, to extend the project may only infringe, actively break the terms of agreement among people concerned - including and esp psychological contract. We re-iterate that to go beyond the agreed project needs further discussion, several considerations and commitment to contracts esp psychological contracts. Kathryn and DJ have requirements, boundaries and expectations before they say yes to any projects. Among them, they have said that they want the same writer, the same director, the same conditions, etc....
These are reasonable points of discussion expected from KAPAMILYA relationship with motto "To God be the Glory!"
(1) DJ and Kathryn are personal family to each other. They are corporate family to ABS-CBN. They are also family to the Kathniel fandom (some of them are real organizations with SEC registrations). (2) Giving glory to GOD means promoting, respecting, protecting, safeguarding and defending the dignity of the persons of DJ and Kathryn as well as their relationship, their love for each other, their future, their rights.
Both Kathryn and Alden have explained to the public esp to their respective fandom that this was a rare opportunity to team up as part of their individual professional growth. Both know it was all work and nothing personal. Both Daniel and Alden respect each other and respect the relationship Kathryn and DJ have. Let us NOT be the cause/source of relationship breakdown and / or breakup just because "kinikilig tayo" or for the management, just because we want to earn more. Let us NOT play gods with their love and their life!!!
The need to protect and safeguard the 7-year ONE, GREAT, TRUE LOVE between KATHRYN AND DJ esp in this seductive world of entertainment is the first priority to consider. Kathryn and DJ are humans too. As humans, they are wired to respond to stimuli. There is a limit to what they can handle no matter how brave and professional they are.
To be frank, it has not been easy both for DJ and Kathryn. People have been bashing Daniel in this movie team-up of Kathryn with Alden. We don't know why people should be bashing and hating him. He has been very supportive and quiet in all this endeavour. Yet why must he always be compared and put down left and right? How can people be so insensitive to unwittingly or wittingly try to discredit DJ who is Kathryn's boy friend just so they can push to have Kathryn for Alden as Love Team??? Let me tell you about DJ. DJ is a good soul in and out. Physically, he has the "it", the so-called sex appeal without even trying, plus he has the character and personality to boot. He is very charming. He has the charism that attracts people to him. He is actually very mature for his age esp having to take on the role of the man in the house, take care of the family, and earn a living for his mother and siblings. He has been blessed to have Blockbuster movies, highest grossing THOU movie of all time, high rating teleseries, Best Actor awards and other awards to boot. Plus the fact that he is the youngest artist to have full-house concert shows (all 4 of them) in Araneta/MOA; he has earned gold and platinum albums; he is a bass guitarist, a basketball 3-point shot MVP, the most influencial endorser, etc.... Yet, despite all these honors, DJ has been quiet all this time, being in the sideline supporting his girl friend Kathryn, who has also been bashed left and right by people who only like Alden for Maine and only like Kathryn for DJ. And now, you are asking for a part 2 sequel after all the bashing and hateful treatments against both DJ and Kathryn --- seriously?
DJ loves Kathryn very much. Despite the many women admirers (both young and old alike), he is still a one-woman man who knows how to treat and take care of his lady. And Kathryn super loves him "so much... so much" (Kathryn's own words). Let's not put them to the test or "lead them to temptation" where those who have gone there are now miserable, lonely, and alone because they lost their true love. Lets NOT play or mess with their lives. This is their relationship, their life, their future we are dealing with. Their relationship is the most important and essential consideration to promote, protect and defend in this world so bent on destroying true love, marriage and family. Lets give the proper RESPECT due to Daniel, Kathryn, their long reel and REAL relationship, and their future together.
This is how much we value and love DJ and Kathryn for they have given much to the people as role models and inspiration to the young and not so young in a world lacking realness, authenticity and truth. This is our way of promoting, protecting, defending GOD's truth on the dignity and sanctity of Love, Marriage, and Family which the world esp the entertainment world is so bent on distorting and destroying. As you can see, this is not merely work for DJ and Kathryn. This is their vocation, their vision, their mission to make a difference, to touch lives, and to communicate the good news of faith, hope, and love to a confused, distorted, chaotic world of woundedness and brokenness.
Our advice to these bashers and haters: please get a life. Kathryn and DJ are not doing anything to you. They are just doing their job, earning a living for their respective families, and working to entertain people, touch lives, and make a difference. So please, don't mess with their reel and real ONE GREAT TRUE LOVE (Kathryn's definition of their relationship of 7 years and counting), ok? Just be GRATEFUL and RESPECTFUL to Daniel that he allowed Kathryn to do this movie team-up with Alden. Lets face it, both DJ and Kathryn have opened the door and helped in giving Alden this chance to shine, so be thankful --- be like Alden who expressed his gratitude to Daniel and Kathryn many times over. Unlike some ungrateful fans, Alden knows how to be a gentleman. So to the bashers/haters, please, just be grateful and happy that the movie is a SUCCESS and that everyone has been BLESSED BY GOD, ok? Stop pushing for a Kathden because there is NEVER going to be a Kathden. Kathryn is DJ's FOREVER Love Team in reel and real life!

Kaya nga po sabi ko sa mga nag cocomment dito since nasa showbiz sila there's a lot of possibilities na pwedeng mag ka part 2 or new movie silang dalawa ni Alden since ung unang movie nilang dalawa at pumatok sa mga manonood hnd lng sa Philippines kung di sa ibang bansa din. Then sa decision nmn ng new movie if possible nga, eh na kay Kathryn parin ang last call nun. But hopefully na sana support nlng po natin each and individual celebrities kc sila ung nagpupursige na makapagbigay sa mga tao ng entertainment. @@JohnbelleVlogz, please read my comment again. We are against anyone shipping kathryn to any actor. Kathniel Forever kami. We are protecting the 7-year (and counting) relationship of DJ and Kathryn. So, there will never be a Kathden love Team. DJ and Kathryn lang. In fact, Kathryn was informed in the Q&A portion in Cambodia that they conducted a survey about what the audience would like to ask them. The people's response was they love Kathryn and Dj very much and would like to meet DJ next time Kathryn comes back. So they asked when can they meet DJ? Kathryn said yes to bringing DJ to Cambodia. The audience actually shouted DJ's name in the crowd.
