suggestion: use a rubber tire tube for your space between the truck and camper, plastic will pop and rubber will have some flex and give, also consider a ceramic electric heater, they are very small and would heat that space very well without the dust and constant clean up involved with a small wood stove or you can consider a small pellet stove

Ethan, you are a very enterprising fellow, well done. One tip on ovens you may not know about, is that a type of microwave oven called an Inverter Microwave uses an internal electrical regulator that provides continuous power at reduced levels. This means that you could park in some sun, set the oven to a 300, or 400 watt setting, and have it run fully from the solar power. This would permit you to cook a chicken for an hour, without depleting the battery. It's quite a unique feature that solves the considerable energy problem of cooking. Also, if running off battery, one could even use a 100 watt setting for smaller cooking jobs. A standard microwave oven pulls near 1500 watts even when it cycles, making it prohibitive to run. You may find this useful to know.

You’ve put so much thought into your living space, from practical considerations to matters of comfort. I would urge you to think carefully about a wood stove. They give off a lot of immediate heat, but refueling an existing fire would invariably spill smoke inside, something that can be hard to control. That said, the warmth and ambience from a fire is so nice.

My partner and I recently took the Ford f-250 with Palomino camper with no trailer cross-country and quickly discovered how easy it is to drive in traffic and park in regular parking spaces. We did stay some nights in paid campgrounds but we also stayed at truck stops, rest stops, casinos for free to save money. I know how much you appreciate the full bathroom. My camper has a full bathroom which takes camping from roughing it to very comfortable. Happy travels Ethan!

As too the small wood dust check above your PlayStation it might be bugs in the wood eating the wood or it could be sawdust left behind a panel that settles out through a crack. Wood stoves are great as propane really adds up quick but the installation in a camper can be problematic. Try a diesel heater, great heat and cheaper than propane. Love you videos bud. Best of luck.

They're big and durable and will definitely last longer than a pool raft. Just inflate it semi hard, enough to keep it in place and absorb the twisting of the truck cab and box in the rear, and you'll be good.. Peaches will never escape and you won't have to worry!

I enjoyed the tour. I didn't read through all of the previous comments, so if something I say is a repeat, I apologize. In regards to the odd shaped cabinet, there are slides available that you could easily install, which would give you complete access, and you could attach some type of strap across it to hold the items in place while you drive. In some of the other areas, I wonder if a cargo net that you normally see installed in the trunk of a car would be of benefit. They're usually long and shallow, probably perfect for the odd shaped areas in the camper. As far as the hatch leading to your penthouse, maybe something like pool noodles could be used to form a removable cover that you could put in place just before you climb out? The concern is whether or not the sharp edges would eventually cut through it. Anyway, you have an amazing setup. I look forward to part 2 where you implement the best of the suggestions from people. Happy trails.

Unfortunately, I feel the dusty woodshavings sounds like termites. Not a big deal because almost anything kills them. Just have to feel the wood and find the soft spot. Some people will fog their camper. One hack I found helpful is Dawn Powerwash. It saves water and cleans very well if you use just a spritz. I use a plastic scrub pad, not a sponge that holds moisture and bacteria , rinse and rack. I enjoyed the tour. Cheers.

You have dry wood termites in your camper. that's where the little grains of wood are coming from. To confirm this if you look at one of the grains under a magnifying glass or micro scope you will that it's kind of square with dimples on the sides. Unfortunately the only good why to get rid of them is to have the camper fumigated/tented to kill the termites. I do pest control and I know what little piles of saw dust or pepper in the same area is from. If you look directly above where you find a small hole about the size of a ink pen tip, that's where they dump out the stuff your finding.

    - they make things to go in your sky light to help insulate it, my p’s have some in the skylights in their camper…makes a big difference in both heat and cold, but esp cold bc cold air sinks and you’re laying right below it.
    - for your weird shaped kitchen cabinet you’re not really utilizing for food, maybe try swapping some of the stuff out of the upper dinette cabinet into there so you can use that better shaped space for food (maybe get the food under the sink away from the chemicals(!!) as part of that swap?
    - maybe the bits on your PlayStation are just a result of static electricity? Bits floating in the air being drawn to that large horizontal surface area? Not sure exactly how big the bits are, so maybe not.
I really enjoy your adventures and love your sunny attitude with just a squeeze of snark. 😂

Great tour cool how much stuff is configured in a small space. I live in a RAM Promaster City Van and have done so for three years. If you are ever around Las Vegas stop and visit.

    Hello!
Cette cellule est très bien conçu et son ergonomie très fonctionnelle bien mieux que ce qui se fait maintenant ! Étant français je n'ai pas tout compris surtout que tu parles beaucoup et très vite mais les images ont bien montré ton home!
    Bon vent 😉

Awesome camper! Nicely layed out and organized, which indicates you've put a lot of thought into it and make it liveable!😊

Ethan, your vids always make me smile. The camper has huge possibilities.
The wood stove is a great idea. Not sure where you can put it but if you find the space it’ll really help to cut costs. Not sure where you can store firewood. Maybe build a small back porch to have a wood box

What a nice camper! The wood stove idea makes good sense. I think the portable frig/freezers are far more energy efficient than the old L.P./110v units and much lighter. Safe travels!

My parents used to have a rubber “boot” they called it… that filled that space between the truck and the camper to fill the space between the truck and camper windows. It was inflated with air and specifically made for that application

Your camper is amazing. I've never seen a truck mounted camper with so many amenities, I think you have everything my 30 ft camper has. Do the scheduled maintenance on your truck and it will serve you well. I have one like it that I pull a 6 ton trailer with, it can be a little slow, but never disappoints me.

At 10:35 WINDOW. I recall seeing an inflatable donut made to go between the cab of your truck and the camper to keep the window sealed. They are out there just keep an eye out for one.

I'd probably change the weapon storage location and NEVER show anyone else where it is now to keep that element of surprise. I know you wanted to show us everything but we as strangers should NEVER know where important stuff like that is.
I'm enjoying your channel just subbed keep up the great videos.
