In other to get a perfect casting you'll need to preheat your mold blocks to around 1000 degrees this will allow your metal to stay in its liquid state longer that way it can flow into every area

The CNC is a t8 "clone" from aliexpress--The bed is bigger than the t8 and you can make it even bigger if you buy the right extruded aluminum and JB weld it together (which I did). That was done more for increasing support spots than because the models I make are big..

if you make the top perfectly flat.. and make a side entry spru hole or even a top down spru hole to about/38 wide of a hole out vortext to a half dollar on a new flat block. On trhe other block make 6 or 8 10 air lines to let air escape quickly. clamp the 2 blocks together heat them up while melting the silver then pour it all in 1 quick shot and the detail will be perfect. Your using weight pulse compacting because the silver or metal will press against the flat block pushing the face into the model better.

There would be nothing simple about that process. Between the high compression, high heat and exotic binders to get the dust to form into a block it would be impossible for a hobbyist. Not to mention creating a positive mold to withstand all that...cutting a premade block that can be bought for 5-10$ is vastly easier.

I do make molds but no sorry I don't do any custom work. I'm still setting up my new machine and don't know when I'll be back at it.

Cool! Lucky basterd. I do all my graphite molds by hand. I *really* gotta get me a cnc machine.
