NERVOSA’s new line-up is the best ever, with two guitars and Prika on vocals. I saw them live in Ostend here in Belgium in May and they absolutely nailed it, what a killer show! The first single Endless Ambition was truly awesome too, more thrashy, but the band announced that the new album would be more diverse, and this second single shows the versatility and the new perspectives with two guitar players. I pre-ordered the new album already with a t-shirt, can’t wait to have it. And to see the band live again! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
This song is kick-ass!! I love it!! They always get better with every record. Always prefer the performance videos. Awesome riffs in this song as well.
Thats a good answer. We now benefit from two good bands so why compare? I admit that the Crypta debut didnt light my fire, but the new material is pretty sick! Loved Nervosa's last album and enjoy the singles, so im with you on the hype!
This is a song I put on and I don't get tired of listening to it over and over again, these riffs are addicted. Too bad they're so short. if the whole album is like this... top 1
I've dug (and own...on CD) every Nervosa album so far. More so than comparing to Crypta (Whom I fucking love) I'm curious to compare Jailbreak to their (Nervosa's) previous albums.
I can see why the members of Crypta moved on, just different directions. Crypta is way blacker than Nervosa and Nervosa is thrasher. This song almost gave me a Carcass vibe, vocal tone especially. I fuckin love both bands.
This absolutely kicked ass. The two singles are fantastic Hyped for this for sure. Has a Sepultura/Kreator vibe. Bit more thrashy than Crypta ( Killer album too) which i prefer.
To drawn comparisons is absolutely natural and I don't see any problem in it, as long as people keep respectful. With that said, Crypta really doesn't do anything for me, I don't feel so captivated by the band. Nervosa in the other hand, since the formation with Diva Nervosa and Mia Wallace onwards, man, I started to like the band (didn't like it before), every single they release it's a killer, I'm loving this new Nervosa era since the split.
It's good that Pri take the charge with the vocals because otherwise the band identity goes to hell with so many members getting out. But man, I don't get her obsession with foreign musicians. Crypta got Taina that was literally "nobody" before the band and she is one of the best on the country, I don't understand her need to have these people from outside, so much cost for nothing, honestly, Brasil have waaay to many talents. Also, they are falling into the predictable, it sounds like something I heard before, some elements are so obvious that it makes me sad, lol. It's a shame (no comparison at all to crypta's music, they are different, just using the Taina example on how you don't need "known" names) Before someone comes for me: I'm a woman, I'm not teasing them for being a girl band, I just like excellence in my girls bands exactly because I don't want any room for annoying metal man.
i´m brazilian, huge fan of metal, and i´m so proud with this girls, thanks guys for checking out every great band we have here🤘🤘
This is great. I'm very excited for the album. I'm honestly really happy that both bands are doing so well and the music is tremendous.
Ps: i really like the way you guys talk about music, always honest!

Fodaaa! So good to see fellow brazilians making such a success in the metal scene!
First single was called "Endless Ambition", you should give it a shot :D
Thanks for the review. The first single of this era are Endless Ambition. Nervosa and Crypta rulez!
This definitely has that Swedish guitar tone ala Entombed/At the Gates always loved that tone.

Up Nervosa! 🤘🇧🇷🍷
Adding a legitimate lead guitarist to the band just took them to another level. It would be awesome if they could to a co headlining tour.
Reminds me of thrash Era Sepultura

One other single has beeen released already 'endless ambition' both songs are crushers. Nervosa and Crypta both delivering.

Amon Amarth, Sepultura (given), and the harmony guitars make me think of Crimson Glory.
Good move of Prika to be the vocals and acquired another guitarist. Now the band have a better sound. The song was good but too short for me.
Absolutly,Prika is pure aesomeness no matter if on the guitar or singing
This absolutely kicked ass. The two singles are fantastic
Hyped for this for sure. Has a Sepultura/Kreator vibe. Bit more thrashy than Crypta ( Killer album too) which i prefer.
I still have to listen to the new album.
Nice Rivers Of Nihil tank top 🤘
