- The world’s first diesel Lamborghini has been made and it’s got a 1000hp twin turbo cummins engine in it. What’s more it’s also got a widebody kit and was completely rebuilt from a wrecked Gallardo.
Enjoy!

lamborghini started by building tractors, right? so these guys just made it full circle by swapping a tractor engine into a lambo.
Hahaha that’s a great observation, so true! 😂
I was thinking the same thing I want one now
GOOD POINT
To this day, Lamborghini still makes tractors, under the name of Lamborghini Trattori. Imagine one of their engines in Lambo's cars!
Be the first Lamborghini to hit 100k on the odometer. Hell lets go for 500k.
definitely not the first....
Royalty Exotics has a 187k mile Huracan, there's a 150k Gallardo for sale right now, seen a 120k one and several others over 100k.
Transmission got to survive to do that. Unlikely with those kinds of numbers coming out of the engine.
The Cumborghini!!!!!!
This is by far the most reliable Gallardo! Lmao I love it it's just awesome!
With the new cummins engine It would last over a half million miles.
It would have been better to hear it running instead of talking
This makes me a proud Texan and a proud 12v Cummins owner lol.
100% ok Lamborghini started as a tractor company
Forgot to mention that this is a STROKED 6.7L that literally spins @2x the RPM of any OEM cummins. Its set up in a way to where you can literally request whatever HP numbers you want. 1100 hp is probably the highest output that could be comfortably handled on the street, as that puts the torque over 2000ft/lbs, meaning that this lambo has marginally more hp and tq than nearly every legal class 8 semi truck/ tractor on the road, while it could easily also be tuned to 30mpg+ as well. Insane
It's a 12v not 6.7?
yeah thats a 5.9
Lol have you seen how much up the built 3406 and Detroit's do put some respect on class 8 trucks
The guy loves 5.9 Cummins motors and that’s why he used a 5.9. Where did you get a 6.7
5.9
With a cummins comes the monstrous ability to make a couple thousand ft lb of trq and all the horses you could ever need
Freaking awesome build definitely one of one ☝️
Wanna hear something funny? The guys could've just stayed in the family by grabbing the V8, V10 or V12 twin turbo diesels from the VW/Audi side, and there are plenty of parts and tuning for them. But hey, this is hot rodding
those engines woul all be much too larger to fit in a lambo plus there isnt any on the same level as cumins when comes to easy horsepower a tune, bigger turbo, trans, and fuel will make 750 hrs all day
@Cody Cox disagree. The VW/Audi turbodiesels were used in A6 and A7 cars plus the VW, Audi and Porsche SUVs. It would've fit fine.
Booooring. The whole point was to Americanize it, and think outside of the box. Nothing says ‘Merica better than the Cummins 6 in a row.
@Hoost 305 you right, it would've fit fine. Cummins is king of diesels though.
@THE Big Kapooow I'm a Cummins guy and have had a B5.9, a Big Cam 400 and two N14s. The ISX style engines have burned me repeatedly, and unless you build them properly they bite. The twin turbo TDIs have been used in competition ( if I remember correctly) and they are beastly
That is the cleanest Lambo build I've ever seen and the diesel build is perfect
This so awesome the work that went into to truly art work such awesome talent
This idea was in my head for the longest time so glad someone pulled it off
Thats badass!
I love this
This could possibly be a game changer in the Lambo industry ! 1100 hp simply crazy power .
Lmao there is nothing simple about this
Love this and love my 20 year old Jetta TDI.
Something that Westen Champlin would've DEFINITELY done
That Lamborghini pulling a boat
I remember watching this show when they made this car with a Cummins diesel engine ❤
Nice to see Jeff out there in the diesel world.
Very first successfully twin turbo charged cummins? I wouldn’t say that. The cummins motors have been modified and experimented on for decades. So I wouldn’t say they are the first to twin turbo a cummins. According to them, they are wrong
Even if it was the first twincharged Cummins, VW already did put with the V10-TDI a twincharged Dieselengine in a productioncar 20 years ago lol...
And it was in the Touareg of all cars...
So kinda pointless to claim world first for a single brand even tho others have done it 20 years before them. 😆
@@Schmitzelhaus I understand what you’re saying. But the video is saying that this shop is the first to twin turbo a cummins motor, specifically a cummins motor. When it’s been done plenty of times before this. Also I like that TDI. They sound aggressive with a straight pipe and surprised more people don’t talk about them as often. A v10 TDI 🤔
@@xInline6 Twin turbos refer to separate exhaust manifolds feeding separate identical turbos, and they may actually really be the first ones to do it. Typically when two turbos are used on a Cummins its in a compound arrangement, not twin.
@@Schmitzelhaus FWIW Detroit Diesel manufactured twincharged diesel engines since at least 1957. Also, this Cummins isn't twin charged; it's twin _turbo._
Video states”first twin turbo cummins ”.
Sick and Ferrari needs to build one of these from the factory
The Lambo was crusher bound so who cares if it’s got a Cummins or a Chevy or whatever!! These young men and their dad built it into an amazing car! So instead of being a snob and berating them, appreciate what they have done to a complete and udder basket case!!!!!
1st low maintenance Lambo in the world!!
That’s badassssss
NICE
It’s a lambo, they used to make tractors so this is as pure as it can get it’s in their dna
Wasnt expecting Jeff Lutz 0:33 in
Just want to see it in action!
Just seeing a lambo smoke that much rolling down the road would make my year 😂
cool video
Thanks John!
How the hell does an original Lamborghini gearbox take that sort of torque?
Seriously! Testament to Sant'Agata's engineers that they built a gearbox that can stand up to a machine like this!
I'd rock it
i can see the que here in the uk lol people are going to be wanting this conversion
What in the FREEDOM?!
Hardest build ever…. This is so awesome.
People have been slapping twins on those for years
The most 'Murican Lambo
Some one had to do it lol i think its bad ass an takes alot of know how to do this.
I like it
Love the build but would also be fitting if they swapped it with a VW V10 TDI
Now this is car building and not just cutting the fenders and adding a wide body
I know him irl he let me drive it that car is crazy!
What does it sound like?
So like... how heavy is it now? I feel like the weight distribution is bad as well
Is this ULEZ compliant?
Not a Lambo fan but when you put any disel in it looks dam good smartphone color as my harley house of kolors burnt orange
Kind of ok? It's way cool!
It's. Sakrilege. For sure. But with style and skill.
Better than original
I mean, it makes sense and all since ya know, Lamborghini started out making agriculture vehicles and what not
Sir I highly doubt after all that work they put “chrome” wheels on it. Looks more like polished aluminum. But I could be wrong I wasn’t there when they built it nor watched the build series.
A 4bt Cummins is far more swap friendly size-wise
True, but they don't make a nice sound
@@jacobmoses3712 That is kind of in the eyes or ears of the beholder. Some people like the odd sound
Wonder if it is still awd
It's a first gen Gallardo, so no. It's still rear wheel drive
@MelodeathMassacre all Gallardos came as awd except the 550-2 with the 2008 facelift. I guess the question was reasonable.
You definitely get points for different.. But I'm totally shocked you didn't compound turbo it vs twin.. Diesel's aren't made to be twinned, but it can clearly be done... Not a fan, but not a hater either. Smoky diesels are a thing of the early 2000's
Lol need to post vid to see eco crazies and watch them lose there tiny minds😂
Want to see the first twin turbo 5.9 Cummins? Here it is czcams.com/video/M6S46ua8IYI/video.html . Twin turbo 5.9 designed for marine use by Cummins, @BanksPower and Robert Bosch for use by the US Navy
try doing a Cummins swapped Ferrari. you wouldn't even be able to pull the cummins out of the donor vehicle without Ferrari giving you a C&D letter.....and I want to put a Ford motor in one and give it the Ford Blue paint job.....
i missed the part where the lambo rolled coal
Westen Champlain
When diesel is cheaper than gasoline😂😂😂
lol wait till it gets to get gas(pardon the pun)
Steadman has a twin turbo lambo not a single turbo
A 2JZ Swap & Cummins Swap Sacrilege It Should Be A V10 Or Nothing
Opposite of sacrilegious
Would be awesome without all of the black smoke.
But wait is it e gear 😂😂😂
The Smoke is no Joke and if you drive behind its awfull.
I would like to see a full road test. To me, its only interesting if it actually is driveable.
Brilliant engineering but there's noway you can excuse that billowing cloud of soot. Little more work on the exhaust and injection needed me thinks
I think it is likely to be a tune on the car to make it blow smoke. They should be able to turn it off with a different map.
More driving clips and noises. Less blah blah blah
🤣🤣👍
Lambo TDI
Cumborghini
Ramborghini
Lol
Contaminación total y absurda
This needs a Bank’s treatment. Low on power, and smokes way too much…
Id rather see and hear the car than listen to some guy ramble
More car, less talking.
Too bad lambo is only making electric cars now
alright this is awesome, the fact that it’s still hooked up to the original gearbox is crazy so doesnt that mean it still has the 6 speed gated manual? and im pretty sure there was shops back in the early/late 2000’s that twin turbocharged the different cummins motors, im really into the diesel side of things and im not sure when the first actual kit came out to twin turbo these motors but even still this kits definitely 100% custom. beautiful beautiful car though🤙🤙
What they did with the bodywork is terrible
🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮
Cry about it
hate it
IT WAS WORTH MORE AS A WRECK
Is this still AWD or 4wd?
Ain't no way somebody do this 💀💀
This could possibly be a game changer in the Lambo industry ! 1100 hp simply crazy power .
Diesels are very heavy though. Diesels make great power and torque and very reliable, but they are very heavy, the Cummins motor probably nearly doubled the weight of the lambo
@@childishfiend5923 A 6.7 Cummins weighs about 1100lbs dry.
