+Morgan_Dext I couldn't say it any better! :( They can do so much more for the Kitsune-story. I mean, when they explained the different kitsunes during season 3, I was literally hoping they would show in the future seasons some other kitsune's and maybe Kira could have a rival (a little bit like Scott and Jackson :p). That would be awesome but o well **keeps on dreaming about it**. Arden will definitely be missed
I believe Liam has to stay because he's Scott's first Beta. Yeah, Hayden's irrelevant and the fact that they made her a wolf,, ew. Parrish can also get interesting because there was never a thing like a Hellhound in the show. And yeah, it was bullshit that they made Kira leave. I agree.
Isn't it interesting how Jeff Davis was so fascinated with Arden's character & the depth of a kitsune that he considered a side show for her? I wondered what happened. I started this show for Arden. She'll be missed dearly.

Yes! I love Allison but the need to compare these ladies is based in misogyny and it’s old and annoying. Besides, Kira joined the show before Allison died and and they would have become good friends. The scene where they team up to fight and have to switch weapons was epic. They are two very different badasses that work great together. Solidarity!
And yeah, I know Scott has a type. Kind women who you can be close friends with but are also incredibly badass and sometimes make dangerous mistakes but feel very bad and are actually very loving. That’s my type too. I understand why he would love Malia from the viewpoint of a fan who loves her but for a ship, come on! Scott doesn’t need to date all the girls he knows! Scira was broken up off screen. They could have just made them do long distance. They were only put together because they were single and the writers don’t know how to handle single people. A show can have a satisfying end with a single character. Malia certainly did not need a relationship and they had a good friendship so why force the romance? Kira was her best friend! She wasn’t The self-centered coyote survivor anymore. She would not do that to Kira. She was still strong though and her life did not need to revolve around a boyfriend! They had no development! Why?!
It’s been years and I’m still pissed that despite Arden wanted to come back, it was decided that the only WOC amount the teens had her story finished even though the audience was left with so many questions and had no idea what happened to her. Same with Meagan. Kira was my favorite and I’m so thankful for Arden’s channel because she is amazing.
Malia was more of a replacement for Allison than Kira was.

Idk why but I love how Kira yelled, "I could've killed you!!" Because in her voice you can hear how angry she was at her mom and herself. It's like Kira knew she had no control but was somehow manipulated? I have no idea what's going on with Kira but I look forward to what the writers have got in store for her. Maybe whatever is going on will continue until season 5b :)
I know what you mean and yeah she sounded hurt and angry all at once. And I think that her mom attacked her because Scott probably told her mom that she's been a bit off and I am really LOVING THIS PLOT LINE. She is a bad ass and I'm glad she is getting more screen time. +ardenbcho

Kira was my favorite character, I wish they kept her on the show and explored her powers more. Right now with the Wild Hunt she would have been amazing to have with them. I just wish they'd bring her back. I don't feel we got closure like we did with any other character. They sorta just sent her away one day.

It’s been years and I’m still pissed. Her powers would have so useful in season six a and in six b they needed all the help they could get. Her story was far from finished. I want to know what happened to her! We got no closure with her character and the writers made Scira break up off screen and that was dumb. Arden wanted to come back so it’s not like Kira was written out so the actor could quit. It was just dumb. They had to use her sword but could not use her and had to bring back Theo instead of her?! They did not even give him a redemption arc! It was just “ we have to be at the same side or we will all die.” If you have to brink back a character, bring back the angel not the asshole. She is much more badass anyway. You had one WOC among the teens and get rid of her? Come on!
Kira has been one of my faves since she got here. So glad she is getting some much needed story time. Can't wait to see the arc of her character and ardens amazing acting.

we were just starting to see sparks of Kira's power. I get it, if they had allowed her to have that power and show it she would've been much more powerful than Scott and his "pack" mashed up in a ball. She was just too powerful and they didn't want to make Scott and the others look like losers any more than they already are. I just hate the fact that she always came third for Scott. He never really loved her truly, he was just exploiting her, going to get her when he needed to heal and needed his pack for him to be stronger. True alpha my ass. They made Kira go and the girls didn't even mention her, neither Lydia nor Malia. I hate this show, it did THAT to me. Kira was my favorite character and she was so special. I loved the Kitsune mythology even though they were so wary when exploring it.

She might be my favourite female character and I cant wait for the rest of the season to explain more in depth about Kitsune's because I find them amazing and fascinating. My favourite part is the sword fighting and the aura of a fox around her.

i think the dread doctors did something to the kitsune to get it to act out and mess things up so that she'll have to leave because she poses a huge threat to them because of her power of electricity and she may be able to stop the dread doctors electromagnetic "power" with her ability to control electricity. i think in the end of the season she will be the main one to stop the dread doctors along side parish and Lydia which i believe parish may be the be one to help unlock Lydia banshee powers because of the hellhound and the banshee are connected.

it actually really does translate to "I am the messenger of death"
meaning death is making her fox carry out death for them .

As a Japanese, this is really an interesting scene... 😂 I would be so excited to see someone who has super natural power from the fox (kitsune means fox). I really like the actors. I just wished the Japanese script was more natural sounding. Nobody talks like that in Japan. I am not talking about their accents in Japanese, just the lines itself. I actually don't care about accents, anyone could have accent when speaking in foreign languages.
Obviously the fox spirit isn't gonna talk in casual Japanese and Kira's mum is 900 yrs old. Hence why the script is extremely formal and old fashioned

christina lee The tails are earned as the kitsune progresses. Like Kira learned how to heal herself and that earned her a tail. The tail is used to summon the Oni and maybe other things too. You break a tail, you get an Oni. That's why Kira's mom had control over the Oni.
Holy hell, season 5 is shaping up to become my favorite season. This year is really strong. Every character has an interesting, complex character arc. Loved this. Kira is a bad ass.
