Just a head's up: I am NOT saying that it is wrong to like Eclipse or to find them kind. In fact them being kind is not the main issue I have with them. This video is just that, a video, and this is NOT me saying I will react this way to everyone who says they like this character. It's just a little funny video about me being salty! Let's be civil and respect eachother's opinions here, alright? Edit: There's also a chance this ages terribly since I tend to warm up to ideas after a while even though I dislike them at first. Okayyy massive paragraph incoming! Btw they're already growing on me a little bit (fan content go brr) sooo yea I can probably look past all this in a week or so but yesterday while making this video i definetly couldn't- I'm just confused who/what exactly Eclipse is and why they're here. If it's supposed to be both Sun and Moon combined, why are they so calm? Sun is an anxious wreck and Moon is well... Moon. Also how the heck can they even combine? How does Sun suddenly know that can happen? Wtf is the line 'We need to be whole again' supposed to mean? If it's supposed to be a 'safe mode', which is a lot more likely because they said that in the game, why give it its own name? They could just keep it as 'Sun' in the subtitles and everything would still make sense. If this is how Sun (and maybe Moon too) was supposed to act, then why do the books say they act the way they do in SB because they were originally meant to perform in theater and Moon was a bad guy, and that Fazbear Entertainment was too lazy to change the code so they keep the lights on in the Daycare? It could be that the book lore isn't canon, but I still find it weird. And again, if this is how they're supposed to act then WHY DID THEY GIVE THIS CHARACTER THEIR OWN NAME? Also, there was no indication that they were malfunctioning/behaving differently than they should in SB. Even just a single line could've changed that... Also the subtitles changing back to Sun saying 'thank you' is really wholesome but it just makes this situation a lot more confusing imo (Plus I love my crazy jester bois and now you're telling me that they're actually supposed to say stuff like 'have a faz-errific day'?! WHAT WHY) A little bonus thing: The name contradicts SB because there in the BB arcade game, Eclipse is made to be sinister so you'd think they wouldn't give that name to a super friendly character. Then again they probaby only called them Eclipse because fans wanted to see Eclipse in the dlc. Which also makes me salty because Steel Wool needs to learn how not to let the fanbase influence their games like this.
Fnaf ruin is the dlc to fnaf security breach which just released (fnaf = five nights at freddy's). Eclipse is a character introduced in it who has like 20-30 seconds of screen time
