This is very sweet. Besides the documents of the relationship between Malcolm and Henry, its also true that I took Henry to see Cake play at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley and there was some dialog going on about could Henry jam with Cake some time, what would that sound like, then there was also a fairly impromptu show with Etienne De Rocher and Henry at DuNord (which I jokingly call Pumpsie Green -- but truth be told, that's a different hypothetical project); there was also a meeting between Henry and Lee Townsend about doing a Live-Evil thing.

And not to step on my own act but: I was in Austin when Malcolm recorded what I guess is a demo of above, at Stuart Sullivan's Live Wire studio, and I remember that Stephen Bruton came and hung with us for a minute -- so I thought of that moment when I saw the Jeff Bridges "Crazy Heart" movie; Malcolm got his name "Papa Mali" while on tour with Burning Spear; I sat next to Burning Spear for 10 minutes at Jet Blue Kennedy once and didn't realize who I was talking to.
