A good marinade for pork steaks I came across once upon a time is 2tbsp ketchup, 2tbsp light soy sauce, 2tble golden syrup, and 1tsp of chopped garlic (I use the EZ Garlic from a jar but you can always use fresh). Spoon the marinade over the steaks and let them sit for at least an hour, then give a quick splash of soy sauce to any uncovered areas. Not spicy, but a good flavour nonetheless. 👍
Happy Saturday 😊 Ohh now Charles Bighams range is quality 👌 I've not tried this particular curry I must try it as I love scorpion chillies. Try his Thai curry range Paul if you havent already. Not spicy yet the flavours are right on point. Enjoy! 🌶 Nic xx P.S nothing worse than nosey neighbours neighbours lol
Evening Paul hope all is well Charlie Bingham meals are superb Chicken madras looks lovely will have to try it out next time.myself and the Mrs had the Thai green chicken curry one last nite we picked up in Sainsbury’s after our work enough for both of us and that was washed down with 2 large bottles of Cobra for myself 🍺 enjoy them also! 😎 have a great rest of the evening and the wknd all the best take care.
That looks really nice, love the first drink again classic 👍 Charlie Binghams I’ve been told really good, though I haven’t tried it yet, good video 👍 Have a great weekend
H&S in the garden, surprised you didn't add a fresh pepper to the mix but the sauce was a pleasant addition. Beautiful there in the backyard, nice setting for some chewing and chatting. Had H&S wings last night so for me: baked pork chops, mashed potatoes w/cream gravy, green beans and fresh corn on the cob accompanied by cold beer...maybe some dinner rolls too. Tasty video, enjoy. See ya tomorrow.
Hello again, great video as usual. The Charlie Bigham meals are really good. as you say, pricey but worth it, wide range too, not just curries. Tonight I'm having a chicken curry. I used the Kohinoor Balti sauce sachet, with a generous dollop of Mr Nagas pickle added ,the chicken has been marinaded in Pataks Tandoori paste beforehand, so should be spicey. I will find out later, I'm having a few beers first, helps work up an appetite. Once again, great stuff, I'm looking forward to your next vid already.
I'm having homemade chili with beans tomorrow. Cole slaw, maybe onion rings after watching this late at night Saturday.Thank you, Paul great meal nice outdoor setting. Hope the stir fry is good too. I need to find that product in the US...seems stelar!
a good meal for you would be mayflower chilli black bean sauce from B&M . £1. 29 with a red or green pepper and big chunks of white onion , and two scotch bonnets . i use breaded mini chicken fillets from aldi with it , and add more garlic and ginger , dam its tasty
Buy the chicken Tikka ones now & again paul haven't had a bad one yet. The chicken is always soft . Well worth the money . Will try that one next time. Cheers.🍺🍺
@@007vauxhall I'm okay. The last cooking video I did was the other night, Spanish Chorizo I think. Going to see Gary Numan on Thursday (I've seen him before in 1990) Paul Draper last month was a disaster, he has to realize he doesn't have Mansun to back him up any longer.
Hi Paul hope your well, Got a busy few day now my Dad was taken ill on Friday and I had to take him to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital he had chest pains and three hours later he was transferred by ambulance to the CCU ward in Glan Clwyd Hospital and we were told he had a heart attack and he will be there till Monday or Tuesday, he is responding well to the treatment and doing well I was with him this afternoon I will see him again tomorrow. The weather has been nice today as I was going through St Asaph it did go a bit grey must been about 3pm I must have past your place had the windows open and I could smell chicken madras, I thought Paul's cooking for tonight's Hot and Spicy. I did check after last weeks video the Kentigern is still on the right as you go down the hill. Enjoy your chicken madras and catch you soon Take care
Very sorry to hear that Shaun, glad he is responding well to treatment, yes you would have smelt the curry, would have plated some up for you 😀 all the best , and regards to your Dad. 👍
@@007vauxhall Hi Paul, my Dad is doing well with the treatment at Glan Clwyd he is staying there till Wednesday and see if he can come home, possible he could go back to the Maelor hospital for recovery , catch you soon take care
Hi Paul, Well I’ve again made the serious mistake of watching your latest Hot and Spicy video before going to the market to shop for dinner. I’m so hungry by the time I finish watching your video that I buy way more food than I should. It’s so embarrassing when the girl at the check out asks “Is this all you you?” Then I have to make up some story about having a bunch of company over for dinner! Oh well, don’t change a thing, I love everyone of these videos, even if they do result in my freezer being overstuffed.
Next one is Asda Beef Madras, Bhona range, bit hotter than the Charlie Bingham. The Bingham one now comes just with the curry and no rice so is cheaper at £6.95. Still expensive but worth it.
Thank you again Paul, very kind of you
You are very welcome 👍👍

That sounds fantastic, I have done one similar just using honey instead of golden syrup, but I will try that. Many thanks 👍
Thanks Paul, My favorite shop curry.

You cant beat that first sup of an ice cold beer, i love a madras the perfect evening

Good Video Paul,
Those curries look tasty by the sound of thing's. Decent portion sizes too...🤔👍🏻
Regarding the portion size. This was for 2. So really you need a side dish and poppadoms, nan if sharing.
Hope this helps.
