Goldy Locks I was thinking the same thing!!! like most comments are about newt but we need to appreciate that this guy did his own stunt and got injured as a result of doing it. and he even allowed them to keep the scene he did the stunt

The way they put this scene together was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!! The visual effects, acting, editing, sound mixing, stunts with the music just AWESOME!!! Even after Dylan's accident I'm so glad they got the movie finished.

Abraham Ali You do know Dylan had to RECOVER? Right? You just don’t get back on your feet after an accident that Dylan had. It took him months to recover. Wes wouldn’t want any of the cast to risk hurting themselves AFTER they hurt themselves. Wes wanted Dylan to take time off to recover. Can you understand that?

I haven't read the books. But, everyone seems disappointed. Seriously, this opening scene is one of the best.

TheFikri136 I read the books and not dissapointed at all. Some people just get butthurt if they change too much from the book. Same happened with Ready Player One. It's about making the best possible movie it doesn't need to be 100% accurate to the book.

One of the best and most thrilling opening scenes of the year. Perfectly puts you into the frenetic atmosphere the majority of the film has. Wasn't a huge fan of this franchise prior to this film but this took things to a whole new level and thankfully the rest of the film lived up to it.

This scene almost ended the whole franchise because Dylan O'Brien got injured very bad and they thought about cancelling the movie

The use of low brass, bass trombone, horn, and the middle register of the viola and strings in this score is f-cking criminally underrated. Brilliant.
The fact that the cast and crew could take the books' utterly nonsensical plot and turn it into an incredible film series speaks to their talents like nothing else.
both were good, the books were trippy thrillers and the movies were very competently directed & dynamic action flicks
This is such a great part to the movie. It kind of explains why the movie kept going on, they got the wrong cart(train thing) which then led to Thomas wanting to save Minho, if he would have saved Minho the first time (in this scene) then Thomas may have not went back for the rest of random teenagers he didn't know. I guess Minho and Thomas (including Newt) were like brothers in a way.
I love how Brenda and Jorge have an absolute blast in the most dangerous situations!
Sooo good, all the negative reviews went in biased or didn't see the movie. Amazing ending to the trilogy! I Can watch this over and over again using boxxy software!

Yo I'm a BIG fan of the books and 0% disappointed on the movies, some book fans were since they just wanted to see exactly what they read, sth dumb if you ask me. The adaptation brought sth new but kept the Maze Runner vibe all the time plus it was amazing how even with a whole different plot they still kept the big things from the book, such as dialogues, iconic lines, conflict between characters, scenes. It was amazing
