Those Rugers are excellent. I had one of the very first ones made growing up, and several newer ones since then including the stainless target model with the bull barrel. Like most all .22s, they tend to run great until they get dirty, then you have problems until you clean and lubricate them. .22 ammunition is just dirty no matter what brand.
