Thanks for this video. I added a tune and a couple of other mods to my car and unwittingly (I'm not smart) surpassed the capabilities of my car's stock clutch. I needed a new clutch so just went Stage 3 so I wouldn't have to worry about again. So, I went from stock to Stage 3 and had exactly your experience. I appreciate your explanations and insight.

man that doesnt look hard at all. Looks like stage 3 is just a higher engagement point. Cause ive driven so many different cars over the years all u need to do is basically find the biting point for each car and use the accelerator to suit the car. Man all t hose noobs. Thanks Nick. I loved how your car grabbed the gears at speed. Thats how a car should perform without any slip.

I got a DE recently (Plan to ls swap soon) and mine came with the same clutch (southbend) does the same idle rattle and all. So funny. Nonetheless, the clutch is super sensitive as you say. I try to give gas on bite point sometimes but stall 1 out of 10 times, but when using the tap method its guarantee 0 out of 10 for me. Nonetheless, I see you doing some hard pulls. I do the same with the DE and the stage 3 clutch but slide ALL over the road, I don't even gain traction unless I feather the gas or if I just shift from 1st, to 2nd, and finally gain traction in 3rd. I run 245/45r18 on the back... Any idea what I should do to get my back to not slide out to aggressively? My back trunk is empty including spare, maybe putting it back together would help give the back some more weight?

Bro I have the same clutch, I learned manual on it and thankfully it isn't stalling, it keeps jerking though...what do you suggest me to do in order for the car to stop jerking and drive smoothly especially in 1st gear?

Just blip the throttle a little more like lightly rev it like 3ish times or so so you can build up the rpm while slowly releasing it stops that jerk and takes off more smooth tbh i used to be the same way bro 😂

bro u got any tips for me i just got 2013 boosted frs stage 2 clutch w a short shift n drift ebrake from wilwood. ive stalled about 20 times and got off like 3 but 2/3 were very shitty starts shaking jerking etc… I think im putting too little gas, most of the videos teaching people how to drive manual are in stock fords or something, just wondering if you got any tips on what helped u with the beginning of driving manual

@@frs2385 So first, know where your engagement point is and be comfortable with it. Then as soon as the car starts moving give it a little gas and the momentum will build up then like 3 seconds later, slowly release the clutch till your foot is fully off the clutch. Also a tip is don’t give it a lot of revs cuz that jerks the car as well and burns the clutch. I usually keep it between 2K-3K RPM in my Nismo 350z. Try it out bro and lemme know what happens.

Blip/rev the gas way more brodie it will help alot and while reving/bliping the gas start letting go of the clutch and when it gets near the biting point just start giving more gas and less clutch it just takes practice homie!!

@picolrallyteam5821 yeah deff stage 3 with that power i feel like if your more on the stock side or staying that way go oem or stage 1 clutch and anything for power or with mods skip stage 2 and go stage 3!
