Most of the time, I have Epsom salts or a bath bomb. Sometimes, I even add bath oils. If I had a water jet or a projector, I would totally do that. I have candles for this and floating bath lights as well as fairy lights behind my shower curtain for extra light. I do watch movies on my tablet and put the sound on my UEBoom speaker. And maybe it's a "rich person thing." I am broke most of the time, but I like to spend my money on things to pamper myself instead of getting my hair or nails done. I don't think any woman does this for every bath or every period. If nothing else, constantly using these products is bad for female health. On another note if you haven't had a full pampering bath ... treat yourself, you deserve it and one or 2 pampering baths per month won't break the bank.
I’ve noticed drinking lots of teas especially ginger and turmeric blends helped with my cramps so much!! Also cutting out coffee until I’m on day three. I survived on sleep and home made matcha. I used to have to take pain meds every six hours just to get through the day
Yusssss! Some good tea is sooooo nice❤ Caffeine is a diuretic and it dries us out, making cramps way worse. So glad there's tasty teas that aren't so painful for this time, and thank you for reminding me about my stash of tumeric tea 😅

Most times the water creates enough pressure to where it's not going to come out unless you yourself open yourself up, it's what happens as soon as you stand up that is where it becomes frustrating and kind of gross because it immediately comes pouring out. It's why my mom never let my teacher force me to swim when I was bleeding because the same thing happened to her when her teacher made her do it. As soon as she got out of the pool it all came pouring out and she had to run to the bathroom. And if you're in a bath the last thing you wanna do is get dirty immediately after.

I think I speak for most people with uteruses: when we are on out period, we want to curl up in bed and not. Move. Until ABSOLUTELY necessary. This is too much, especially with a heavy flow. Take a shower, and get back into sweatpants and bed.
For anyone curious, she put a bathmat down NOT a sanitary pad. Warm baths help alleviate period cramps and being submeged in water keeps the blood in, if you're really worred about bloody water you can put a tampon in and remove it as soon as you're done. Nothing about this is unsanitary😊
As a woman I can confirm that the blood does not stay kept in for all ladies and can and will seep out depending on your flow. Also leaving a tampon in just to take a bath is counterproductive to the point of a bath bruh. And to top it off a hot water bottle will accomplish the same effect without having to sit in a bathtub of red water and is much much faster which I’m assuming cramps and bleeding aren’t going to stop so a lady can take 30 mins to prep a bath 😂

Honestly sugar is supposed to be a big No-No for literally any woman that's either PMS or on their menses bc sugar just causes cramps. I'm so lost as to why most women either don't know this or ignore this fact.
