i have settings on cranked(max) and get a smooth 144hz(fps)+ sooo depends on your pc, and as far as ik only view distance changes with the settings on quest
Last I played on quest, all visual settings were still implemented.

When you use the virtual stock do you have to aim with your offhand or do you aim with your main hand like you would a pistol?
In Population 1 you basically just lower the influence of your offhand so it's either more like a VR rifle or more like a pistol.
You almost entirely aim with your offhand
@@G4IJIN_VR Thanks for the info. It's like VR is the opposite of traditional FPS where you aim with your right hand via mouse or right analog stick.
In a lot of VR games you aim with your non-dominant hand or both hands (requiring stocks to be accurate). Population 1 so far is the only game I've seen get it right.
how do u get the menu
when i load the game the graphics look great and fps looks fine but there is a really bad head shake. anyway to fix? Im not sure why the head shake is like this. any help would be greatly appreciated
I’ve heard of people having this issue but I’m not sure how they fixed it. Report it on the discord and someone will help you out!
I am new to the game and I have one question,I got the game 3 days ago and I wanna know if level 20 is high?
Level doesn’t really indicate anything but time spent on the game. For example, if you put a top player in the server on a brand new account, they’re still going to top frag. And since prestige was implemented, there’s people who have hit level 50 twice.
Is it just me or does this game have the biggest peakers advantage of all time?

Be on the vail discord! They announce all the organized ones. Also, get involved with the VRML. Their competitive season is starting up.

They did. They just have the most performant options with some tweaks on q3

That sounds like a hardware issue my guy.
See if someone has a fix on ifixit.com or you gotta buy new controllers

How much better is PCVR compared to standalone
Game mechanics handle the same between both, but of course PCVR can run better than quest. Devs are optimizing and updating often to improve this as well.

Yep! Removed from the game recently but is going to come back in a future game mode

as im writing this the game has 9 players on steam.
At 12 am.
Also most players are on quest, and App lab open beta is coming in a couple weeks. Wanted to get this out before the game is available to everyone.
@G4IJIN_VAIL I don't know where you live but it was literally mid day for me, and the player count was 9. At its all time peak there was under 300 players, the game on pc is dead.
@@TheDapperSapper your comment was posted around midnight PST, and most players are in the US unfortunately. When the competitive league was in full swing, there were about 20 NA teams and 4 EU if I recall correctly.
Also the game is cross platform, so players on quest means more people to play with on every platform. And every cross-platform VR game, as far as I know, has more players on standalone than PC. Also it’s a bit unfair to call a game dead before it’s left early access. If the player numbers still look like this after full release, I’d have to agree with you, but in the mean time I’m going to play the game I enjoy and choose to be optimistic for its future.
