I had the same but I realised I was connected to a database which I named test in psql and I was trying to connect to a database called postgres so make sure the maintenance database name and user name match up with what you are connected to in psql. That worked for me!

Hi Gajjala. Certainly. In the video I am giving an example of logging into a database running on a local host. But you should replace it with a host address of your database.

I don't know if there's a quicker way, but you can always reinstall the whole thing and this time make sure to note down the password during the installation phase

I tried multiple times but I am not getting any password
you have to set it by yourself in postgres shell, but you can try "null" password as well
I am not familiar with shell scripting and I have Mac machine.
