I keep hearing the prices are dropping.. but if you look at the car market, that is still definitely not the case! I wish it was the case but not at all!
It seems like its only for clout that CZcamsrs are saying this. I’ve been keeping an eye on a few cars and nothing. Everyone is saying dealerships are doing bad and they can’t sell cars, but nothing is reflecting that. 😢😢😢😢😢
It feels like it's going down for them because they so used to that CZcams money and just now trying to look for a gas saver to buy seeing everything being cheap to them

I had been widow shopping sn95 cobras and in early 23 they were pretty much in the 7 to $8000 range for pretty nice examples like well cared for 80 to 100k mile or so condition and thats a killer value imo and by the end of 2023 they went up to 10 and over... I dont know what happened but thats a big jump in a short amount of time. BUT i will say even 10 or 11k for a nice sn95 cobra thats still a really good value (7 to 8k is crazy good tho) those 94-04 mustangs are solid built reliable cars 94/95 GT and cobra still had the OG legendary dead reliable 5.0 HO engine and the 96 up GTs have the diehard 4.6 2v and the 96-04 had a 300hp hand built DOHC 32v 4.6 that are reliable too and haul pretty good,they have a tag on the engine with the signature of the guy who assembled the engine! Its a ford thats cool! And i think we all know the 03/04 cobra "Terminator" is one of the greatest modern mustangs ever built, they were bit pricey averaging 40k+ for just decent one but you can find em in the low $30,000 range for some reason. But ford sold these with independent rear suspension and a hand built fully forged iron block ( the shortblock will hold 900 to 1000hp from the factory) supercharged dohc 32v 4.6 thats a 500whp engine with a pully swap and a couple bolt ons, it comes from the factory with manley connecting rods!! Big cams and a whipple and its a all out screamer. These mustangs are super reliable pretty quick and great drivability resond well to mods, decent fuel economy and make excellent daily drivers that are a bargin if you go with a GT there still dirt cheap... And its very easy to make a G machine from them, with some nice mods they will haul the mail and carve corners too.

You know what the issue with the market is.... that people think paying over 30k for any vehicle is normal..... so enjoy the market because it isn't going down since you continue to buy your overpriced cars!
The Supra mkv isn’t selling because it’s a beemer and will be expensive to fix.

Yup I tried to buy a 139k mile gran coup and hasn't hand oem barrings replaced or anything just standard cap oil filter change. Got it for 20k and won't budge lol

Insurance went under 43% for me this year. Disgusting, insurance company told me it was because of inflation and more expensive electric cars.... I DONT HAVE ONE Y DO WE HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS CRAP... sorry just venting

For those saying it hasn’t , it just hasn’t in your area yet , I promise you 2 months I looked at a Honda civic so , downpayment was 2-3k and full price was 15-17k… just looked again the beginning of this week and found multiple of the same car now going for 1k downpayment and full price of 12-14k. So yeah prices are def dropping In places people know what their money is worth , places where people will pay anything with a good enough excuse … gonna take a sec lol

I’m at a point in my life where I can afford an unrealistic car. I’m thinking of an R35 GTR, FD RX7 or an R32 or33 Skyline GTR. Which would anybody pick?

I'm sitting here trying to do the same. trying to decide between the 2013-15 R35, 2008 Viper Coupe, 2015-19 Corvette Z06, 2020-21GT500, or possibly a Tesla Plaid but I'm worried I'd miss my engine noises (plus get made off constantly by car guys). But out of your list, I really like the R35 it's a great well-rounded package (which is what I'm also interested in getting a GTR). Those other cars are sweet but I feel like they all will have some issues since they are all so old and will need to be fixed more often than the R35. I like driving my cars not having them constantly need repair and not being able to drive them.

Nothing shocking about this return to the mean Ie normal pricing. Covid saw used cars skyrocket to absurd heights and now that supply and deman have equilized and there are no longer and supply chain issues - prices are coming down. On the dealer side - they suck at estimating inventory so they had 3 years where they didn't have enough, thought it would keep going and ordered a ton more and voila they have an absurd amount of inventory they are stuck with. You need to stop with your crappy titles as well, this isn't a big deal at all.
