Red and white checkered screen PREMIERE PRO?! CAUSES AND HOW TO FIX. Please share

HELP!! Editing in premiere pro and getting this red and white checkered overlay on my video. Please share your thoughts, knowledge anything... have you ever had this issue? Please comment and let me know!

was the luts for me as well. after i reapplied the lut everything was fine :)

When i use a lut with .look extention, this happens. I change manualy the extension of the lut to .cube and it works.

For everyone still struggling : this happens with linked comps. Right Click on the file, Edit Original, and it should pop back to normal video.

In my case I've applied Lumetri Color and used a Custom LUT Preset from my External HDD! I've not touched the project for more than a year and I've backed up the project last year! So now my LUT is in a different HDD and the AE Project is unable to load the LUT preset! That's why I had the same issue! But Once I loaded the LUT Preset again, it's gone. Back to Normal. Problem Solved!

What caused it for me is that I changed the path for the LUTs. I had to re-apply the LUTs to fix, and then it was fine.

Most likely cause is that a source file location was changed. This happened to me when I moved the folders Adobe automatically creates on your desktop into a central folder

I found a fix to this, go to the the luts in program files, change the file name to .itx instead of .cube and restart premier and there you go.

YES, it is just lumetri colors when using adjustment layer and color grading. just delete it, then boom it fix it.
