His mother was a beautiful person and a good mother. So gentle yet so strong . By the way the person in the comments who said OJ killed his child that drowned is just disgusting
Arnelle has had a lot oof trauma in her life. Her parent's divorce due to her Dad being a dog, little sister's death from drowning in the family pool, Nicole's murder, her father's multiple arrests, etc...I really feel for her. What started as a charmed and privileged life, turned out to be anything but.

Jason had more “trauma” than her since he was the one who was supposed to have watched over the sister that drowned, and was constantly beaten and chastised supposedly by OJ. He had a history of suicide attempts and did drugs as well. Arnelle was OJ’s princess compared to Jason.

Interesting testimony at the end, an interior decorator says 6 days before the murder, OJ and Paula had her meet over there at the house to redecorate Nicole's bathroom to how Paula wanted it... and that the meeting was set up a week earlier... kind of screws up the prosecutions motive narrative. There's also an interesting little moment where Marcia goes over to show a couple photos to Cochran, he asks her to lean towards him, she points at o.j. who's sitting next to Cochran, Cochran motions her over again, and she leans over to Cochran and is a foot or so from O.J.
Just interesting stuff, watching all these years later.

Maybe Paula Barbieri had Nicole killed. She wasn't even married to OJ and was telling him how to remodel the bedroom/bathroom area. She wanted all traces of Nicole gone in that house, especially the bedroom area. Nicole was also calling the house a lot to talk to OJ. He talked about this in a 2006 interview and said Paula hated that Nicole called the house. Kato even testified Paula didn't like that OJ didn't invite her to Sydney's dance recital, same day as the murders. Paula was jealous of Nicole. Any thoughts?
Paula didn't kill anyone.

Some still are and I’ve seen interviews where they say they don’t regret it, they had to give that verdict as there was reasonable doubt…

The stunt with his mom was awesome. You can say what you want, but the guy's up for murder, he's got to try whatever, and his mom shows up and acts like a complete invalid, they point out she has a genetic condition that causes both of her knees to be replaced, and she hobbles, as slow as possssssssssibbbbbleeeeee off the stand. Some of Johnny Cochran's best work. Smooth operator.
Ikr and to think earlier in the trial she was sitting on a regular bench just like everyone else but here she was wheeled into the courtroom in a wheelchair

It drives me nuts how Marcia thinks this is some type of game..When she’s not laughing or smirking she’s flirting something awful with the defence team and some of her colleagues representing the people..Yet she claims all these years later the sexism was alive and well in the court room..She’s the only one I see using sexism as some type of personal lawyerly..It’s disgusting behaviour especially of women who claims to be so educated..No one thought Marcia was brilliant but Marcia…One doesn’t have to be a fool to see her questions asked were irrelevant to the witness..It was clear what the defence was doing during this time of the trial..To move away from the image the people portrayed of Simpson leading up to the murders..The defence are portraying a man that had moved on with his life and away from Nicole..

Chris admitted in an interview that him & Marcia were more than friends & that they were inseparable during that time & yes her & Johnny flirted a lot. All this extra BS made it a shit show or even better it was the Johnny Cochran show!

OJs family was pivotal to his standard as a man well loved.
Not even the prosecution team wants to cross examine them, their well mannered and well spoken, beautiful people strong women of the highest quality well educated..This was Darden's true purpose in this trial to address the issues that would make Ms Clark seem like a racist person after Mark Fuhrman's fiasco. Darden was very careful not to come across as a UC for the prosecution against OJ Simpson.
I respect Clark and Darden's intentions, but they were not the right choice for this trial. They came across unlikable and asked a lot of nonsense questions to witnesses throughout the trial. You have to be liked and respected by the jury in order to convince the jury.
wow this whole time I thought Arnelle was Carmelita. So the whole time I was imagining an older black woman not cutie Arnelle. :-)
Sandy Carty ...Poor Carmelita (OJ's sister) She took her brother's sentencing so hard she fell out on the courtroom floor after the verdict. She never regained consciousness and later died. All because of these lying S.O.B.'s...
sandy beaches - Get your facts straight! She was already ill with diabetes and kidney failure BEFORE the sentencing. These "lying S.O.B.'s" had nothing to do with her death. And you're wrong about which sentencing. She didn't collapse after this verdict. She collapsed after the verdict in the Las Vegas case, for which he was clearly guilty. Nice try, but you failed.

Interesting.....OJs mom testifies here that Shipp was at Thanksgiving dinner with the Simpson family......but this is the same defense team that tried to say he and Simpson were not friends.
In African American culture it is customary to invite people who you do not know well to dinner. Sounds like RS was a Kato type. Close enough for perks but, not a close friend.
I've been around black people my whole life.....and I've sure never seen anyone stay around any family this much that wasn't a friend. Everyone testified that the guy was around all the time (including holidays)......but according to the Defense team: he wasn't a friend. If I was on the jury, I'd consider some of this stuff a insult to my intelligence.

The defense puts up 5 different witnesses within 1 hour 40 mins. They're way faster and more to the point than the prosecution.
Every witness in the case is examined and then cross examined by both sides at lest once. The early witnesses are not experts so there testimony is over quickly that goes for both sides.
Simpson's mother and sister, not even worth putting on the stand. WTF are they going to bring to the party.
