Hey guys I’m back! Here are my initial thoughts on the build and going over the new parts and changes on the car Andy engine department for this season! Check it out!
My MP10 will be here on Saturday. I’m also coming from a TKI4, so I am interested in seeing how the feel has changed from the older version to this. Stoked to get it out on the track to burn some nitro. This is super helpful for me to understand all the changes. Also, could you please approve me for the Kyosho 1/8 Buyers Group on Facebook? I’m thinking of getting back into this hobby. I used to race in the uk from 95-2000. I started with a laro Diablo then a mugen super athlete, I move to a mp5 and then a mbx4. All with short stroke nova Rossi engines. I wouldn’t know where to start knowing what is good these days. Any tips on car, motor and servo spec to go for?
Hey I've been talking around and most racers says kyosho is a good driving buggy but one of the least durable and needs the most maintenance. What is your opinion on that?
Naaa, I used everything included with my kit. Regular diff shims is all I used and the drivetrain and super smooth, and when they break in, I bet they will be even better.
Wild Man will depend on track conditions. But will be AKA tires! Probably some gridiron’s, impacts, double downs or catapults. Can’t go wrong with those options. All work good.
@@TheRcworld101 Enzo, if you'd please, could you talk a little about your experience with and why you choose to run the MKS HBL599 servos? Likes and dislikes? Have you tried other comparable servos out there? Thanks for any input. I'm torn between the ProTek 170SBL and the MKS HBL599.
Do you know if there are any other manufacturers cvds' or driveshafts that fit the MP9? I am looking for other Manufacturers cvd kits or driveshafts from other manufacturers that fit the MP9 wheel axles. Thank you
Next time just get a regular bad ass B2101 then send it to Rick at RB MODS and have him Mod it ! It will spank some Ty engine ass but you may not want that level at a Race Track? Keep up the great work and good luck 🍀 to you with everything!!
BOTAJELL thanks bro! I hate modified motors they run horrible, ruin the design and original performance from the factory. All the pros never use modified motors. No point, just more power and less fuel mileage.
Enzo Albertoni yes I agree for racing at a track it blows but There are Track Mods that can be done . I know 2 top racers that you know and herd of that have had run Modified Novarossis in the past . I promised I would never say there name lol but you probably already know ? Keep up the great job with the nitro content love it
No doubt. I didn't mean it as running modified motors is a sin...More so, running modified motors..because they do make more top end and bottom, fuel millage is a little lower than factory tuned and sometimes that can hurt. I do know people that send motors into to get tuned to get more millage and be smoother or more efficient, but then those modifiedcations affect idle, and now tuning can be inconsistent. So modifing race engines that will be ran at a track is a big give or take. I know a handful of top names that run modified motors. Nova based engines are very common to see at the track modified though. O.S, Piccolo's and Picco based engines not so much though..at least from what I have seen.@@BOTAJELL
Enzo are guys still using the mp9tki 3 whole front clip an besides shocks an angles what is the difference from 10 to the 9 that car doesn't look much different
I have the same MP10 with 2 MKS HBL599s, I’m using a Futaba receiver and radio. Do your servos make noise constantly? I was told by MKS that it’s normal but no other servos I have do this....
Dude! Let's talk! I just did exactly the same thing: bought a Futaba 4PV radio with R304SB receiver, and two HBL599's, and as soon as the radio is turned on, the servos chatter away constantly. So freakin' stupid, but apparently it is normal, as all digital servos do this. I am NOT impressed.
Hi all. Please can we have a list of all the part numbers. I have been looking for that switch cover that says inferno not had any luck. Also will the one piece engine mount fit this ??
Who the hell knows. I've watched this video at least a dozen times to inspect what the pro has done to this kit, and YES, no fuel filter yet a unique and long run of the fuel tubing from tank to engine. Funny though, because he complained in another video that his engine ingested dirt and screwed it up. Think after that incident he would run a fuel filter. There is a mini filter at the bottom of the tank, but still.

Looks great! Did you needed to use the 13x16x0.15 shims in the gearbox at the building process?

Your right rear link is backwards
I notice the fuel pipe so close to the engine, is it ok to do this because hot fuel won't vapourise the same in your engine,

How Does this Car Compare to the OLDER ones - mp6.5 , mp7.5 , mp777 ( sp2 ) ?
There was no MP6.5, just MP6.
