- Working on the engine of a Vintage 1975 Suzuki TM250, I am reminded of a lasting gift from my Dad almost 50 years ago. It was probably nothing to him but to me it left a lasting memory. #suzuki #vintagemotorcycle #vintagemotocross

Such a great message Dave! It is amazing how our Dads have such a long lasting impact and legacy.
Thanks William, when I got to the cylinder base nuts, I smiled and picked up “THE WRENCH” it’s a cool thing that takes me back. Hope all is well back there.
Dave - just beautiful !!!! And you are so correct !!!!
Thank you OBI-WAN, I know you understand all too well. Take care brother.
Thank you for sharing this. I'm going to call my dad to thank him for all the big and little things he's done for me and our family.
Man if you have a mom and dad to call do it, you are very blessed. Thank you
That is a good memory!
"V" !!!!
I lost my dad a few short years ago. Now you're making me cry Dave. Wonderful story. - Frank
There a huge hole when a person especially a parent passes. Makes me smile when I dig out that wrench for an old Suzuki. Thanks Frank, sorry about your dad.
Frank!!
FRANK !!!
@@pilotdane1 Frank’s awesome 👍🏼👍🏼
Great memory and story. Thanks!
ROB !!!
You never realize all they were or the things they did until they’re gone. Thanks Rob.
Thats a wonderful memory, as the years go by your dad is still there, helping you.
I’m sure he is, and I get older and slower I need all the help I can get. Good memories for sure.
Wonderful memories nice sharing 😄
Great story Mate . 😎
I was reluctant to watch this. I lost my Dad 11 years ago. Wasn’t sure if this would make me sad….
I have a small piece of wood with several nails hammered part way in, each nail has a hand written size above it, and each nail has a wrench or two hanging on it. All my Dad’s doing, that board, those nails, and those wrenches will be with me until the day I die….
Hi Patrick, that is about the same time frame I lost my dad, I'm sorry for your loss. Just a good memory of a kind act that takes me back in time like I'm still 15. Really just a silly memory but it seems these old Suzuki 250's keep finding me begging for a new life. This time I find the bike is actually saving me as much as I am saving it. Take care.
@@verbalwidget7267 very well said!
Thanks for sharing VW! 🙂
Just turning wrenches in the garage, dad’s wrench never entered my mind until I had to pull the cylinder. Then I had to just smile. 😇. I didn’t ride this week I had planned to ride the white rim trail in Moab but a winter storm moved in. It’s good to get going on this project.
