My recreation of the Pioneer 2 from PSO in new Creative Spaces - Phantasy Star Online 2 NGS Ver.2

Here's my Pioneer 2 recreation from the original PSO for the NGS creative space. I've taken some creative liberties to scale and environmental detail but I'm happy with what I have now.

UPDATE 7/20/2023: I actually won a competition held by @RogersBase for my creative space and won a PSO2 Jacket, Cap, Speaker, and other assorted merch so I just wanted to say thank you again to him, Sega, and his chat for voting for my submission.

I'm mostly just waiting for Sega to add more hologram and billboard type parts now to liven the skyline up and hopefully make the holograms on the bridge more accurate to the original. I'll also remake the spawn room and bank at some point because I'm not completely satisfied with them since they're the first 2 things I made and I learned a lot as I went.
I am literally crying in tears. I Wish Sega could give the fans a remastered version. Beautiful work.

@@ensignd.crexote5350Well blue prints are just small chunks you can upload. I'd literally have to dissect the whole city into 100 bite sized chunks and then you'd have to piece it together

I am pretty sure you can still change your Alliance Quarters to have the Pioneer scenery, requires some Alliance EXP to get to.

This does a wonderful job accounting for the limitations of the CS to create an appropriate-feeling skyline/skybox and ground space.

TO BE FAIR, in ultimate episode 1 I believe, the background in Pioneer 2 is replaced with a blue sky, suggesting that the ship has either landed, or is at the very least much closer to planet Ragol's surface.... or whatever...

I still can't believe Crimson dragon was done on a limited budget, pso2 gave us phantom ship, armada of demise, primordial darkness, Magatsu on earth AND space. if I could get my hands on some triggers I'd just blast the BGM and run them back with the boys all day long
Finally someone that cares about old pso wish that Sega souls also care more. They could bring the old levels remade as triggers with the bosses but nah Sega urrr too slow. Well Done
There is more pso2 content in this room than sega's team has made in over 3 years, very nice use of this mode for that matter.
The og pso retro sci-fi vibes still hits hard, i wish sega did an event with pso locations and mobs. Great work btw.

Ship 3 mate here. Anytime i'm having a crap day while i'm playing NGS I go to your creative space to get some nostalgia and it makes my day just a little bit better. The only thing that could make your space better is if they had the actual lobby music as a music disc which is a sin that they still haven't yet.

0:12 Diaclone and Microman, it was two toylines (I'm not counting Jetfire's original design because Hasbro didn't get the toy rights to Macross) and at one point Takara even tossed in Brave toys (Transformers Battlestars) even though Brave toy rights belonged to Bandai (now Bandai Namco) and the Brave franchise belonged to Bandai subsidiary Sunrise (now Bandai Namco Filmworks) and Later Hasbro threw in Gobots and Robotix. Micros were cyborgs, not robots but they _were_ from another planet, Micro Earth. They disguised themselves as action figures on Earth.
Okay, now compress that into a half paragraph for me so he can say that in game.

I remember there was a player who did this once in PSO2 Classic a long time ago... although I dunno how they did it, but I remember it looking even more like Pioneer 2.
Correction: It seems this was actually an alliance quarter base location, not a player house or whatever... LOOK I DIDN'T REALLY ENGAGE WITH THE HOUSING ASPECTS OF PSO2 OK? And I've never played NGS either, I just know that Pioneer 2 is in PSO2 classic.

You have quite a knack for making Casts based on characters from other franchises, it's quite impressive. I once tried to make a cast based on E-102 Gamma back when it was only Base PSO2, but wound up giving up on it a bit before NGS launched, I'd be curious to see if NGS has added any parts that would look better for Gamma then what was there in base.
There's a guy on Ship 3 who made a really great Omega but for E-102 the issue is the shortness of his body and the length of his limbs. You'd never get the body small and round enough or the limbs long and thin enough to get his look down outside of a passing similarity.
@@theDARKlordFLUFFY Yeah, that was the biggest issue I kept having. Also something funny that not many people realize about Gamma is that he's 7'1" and that Omega is actually 4'11" lol so if the Omega's you see aren't short then they are technically over scaled.

looks great! And about the guests building their own rooms, well we tried it and right now it seems there is not enough item cost for everyone to enjoy, at most we tried 8-people apartment buildings. Somehow we need to know which items to avoid to use to not pump up the building cost so fast.~
Believe it or not I've only used about 3/4ths of the total budget on the city so far.
