В конец сороковых начало пятидесятых было модно иметь шторы вышитые такой технике у нас вышивали на льняных шторах мама меня учила и даже одну штору вышивка на вторую терпения не хватило недавно пыталась вспомнить ,потому что много появилось свободного времени но увы .
Ой Людмилочка,на штору в мене тоже терпіння нема)))))Я взагалі тепер маленькі роботи люблю вишивати)

Yes,it will be much easier and cheaper for you.You will need evenweave linen 32 count or higher,or hardanger fabric -very good fabric for beginners.
Tapestry needles.Threads -DMC cotton perle -8(for kloster blocks),12(for filling stitches).Scissors-with sharp and thin blades.
Hoop or frame if you are ok with using it,if not,yo can try without.You can buy everything you need in "Nordic needle"(american online store,they have everything there even my patterns)))they also have kits ,I forgot totally about that shop,exuse me,this is the first place I should send you)
