Daniel maybe the greatest of the Demon Princes, but Thomas is the most terrifying of the tank engines.
I look forward to the Thomas mods
*dank engines
shame they couldn't have the music
You mean the Chaos Engine
Choo Choo Thomas
Not gonna lie that dreadquake mortar got me feeling some things 😳
Same me like it a lot!!
Thomas the Tank Engine goes through his Goth phase
It's pixels on a screen son. Steady yourself.
Dat dreadquake got ya quaking.
I was biting my lower lip when I saw it shooting it's massive load.
I love how the round looks like a giant flare. Its such a gorgeous weapon. I want to have 39 of them fire on a million skaven slaves in a custom game
Back in total war warhammer 1 I took a 40 stack of dreadquakes vs an 80 stack of orc boys. Paused the game and manually targeted each unit and then fired. A single volley cleared the map of greenskins
@@TalosLordOfNight well thats just a lie 😂
@@TalosLordOfNight crazy cause the unit comes out this month
@@TalosLordOfNight Back in Medieval 2 I took a 56 stack of Queen Bess against a 387 stack of peasants.
@@HEBushido There was a mod for dreadquakes, not sure if it was in TW1 but at the very least its been sort of possible to do in WH2
Thanks for bringing up the issue with the flamethrower of the Demon's Tongue. I was kinda worried when I didn't see it shoot at all, and actually assumed that the engine couldn't shoot when in a train. That would have been a huge bummer.
Seeing that armored train run haywire through all those Skaven ranks with all that dust and steam going around gives me major Mad Max vibes and I'm all here for it!
I wasn’t super sold on it when I first saw it debut. But man. This video sold me, I can not wait to use this in campaign, having a chaos dwarf artillery line is the dream
Watching that mortar spin around on its axis brings a tear to my eye, was concerned that the 360 degree fire arc wouldn't be implemented visually
This match up might be the closest thing to a 40k match up we can get in the game
Replace the Skaven with Skryre and you’d be closer
Hear me out: Total war warhammer 40k
@@jotaro6198 How would that work though? Everything is ranged for starters. TW AoS would work though and keep the gwop flowing.
@@bigmerlin3795 It's not, 40k has a lot of melee. Have you ever played the game?
@@SouthPaw444 or like, Empire, Napoleon or Fall of the Samurai...
Oh I hope they don't nerf that thing before I can get my filthy little hands on it....
I really feel like a long line of slowly advancing artillery moving together flanked by a few heavily armored guards of infantry is going to be a very unique and very strong build for this faction. Choochoo mufukas
Can't wait to see what Okoii does with these boom trains when he gets his hands on them lol
You truly have the best quality content in the total war community imo. The shots and word play always bring a smile to my face (whilst thousands of ratmans burn to a crisp then explode)
Oh my god, I fully expected the Chaos Dwarfs to just get overrun - plagueclaw catapults + plague monk CB's are pretty much a nightmare scenario for Dwarfs, and I assumed for Chaos Dwarfs it would be the same. But yeah, that mortar train was really impressive.
Man Indy, Chaos Dwarfs got you excited. You have been droppin bars all day!
Okay that map is really cool, although I am pretty sure the wyverns would be attacking each other instead of chilling together.
The Sorcerer-Prophet desperately waddling away from the biggest plague rat ever while Benny Hill plays in the background.
After this drops they really need to give Queen Bess some love. I loved the way SFO did it where it explodes into a cluster
Honestly whenever the Dreadquake rounds hit I just think "skadoosh" from the end of Kung Fu Panda
Wow what an awesome showcase. The ash spell combos, the train chugging through the lines.. it’s looking great.
The rats must be sad about those quake mortars; it’s like a combination of their poison wind mortars and warpgrinders 😂
When did they have wyverns flying around the maps?
pretty sure since WH2 but i could be wrong
its a newer map, one of the Greenskins maps added in the last update. da Big Butte, Stinkin' Geyserz and some of those other ones
@@milkandcookiesTW sweet, is that possible to find in campaign or a multiplayer battlemap only?
not sure how the map pools work for campaign tbh. dont know the answer unfortunately
@@skeith1543 i've seen it in campaign
I haven't been this excited for a faction expansion since the vampire coast
Indypride coming in with the real important stuff first. Thanks for that man
When that train was attacked it thought: "Its steamin' time" and began steaming all over the place
That dreadquake is amazing, very good damage, nice range, can handle itself against infantry, preety nice speed, good mass. Cant wait to use it
"Urshat? you see those filth-riddled Thaggoraki over there?"
"Hurmm...yeah i see em. What about them?"
"Well i don't want to anymore. They're in the way of Hashut's greatness. Load the Dreadquake."
"....*Smiles viciously* YES SIR hahahaha!"
Plot twist: That match was actually Okoii's testing grounds for his upcoming Dwarf Train Doomstack vid.
6:43 that head just came off really satisfying
When you hit that money shot with the dreadquake damn that feels oh so good.
Fun Fact: The mortar didn't pay for itself
It didn't, but it did rout off a lot of enemies too, so it was definitely worth it.
Fate of all deathstars: in the end it's cheaper to do things other ways.
@@the_tactician9858 good point. Look at huge kills on those wolf riders. They wouldnt get so much without mortar breaking enemy morale
I just listened to the Dreadquake causing chaos with Thomas the Tank engines theme in the background. I love it.
The legendary hero too is actually quite good, without any items he's only 350 and has 50atk 60 def 440 weapon strength base I think
With all it's items it is still less than 1000 gold and can have like 40 ward save, a free big heal when he gets low like the sisters of twilight and a buff that gives him +40 attack and +100% base weapon strength and poison
Ayyye Okoii is the man
Against Skaven, firing lines of LOTS of blunderbusses for the Chaos Dwarves can help protect your army against rushes. But you have to back up those firing lines with melee warmachines like skull crackers. Although dreadquake mortars can do both melee and artillery very well, (hence their expense.) Also use fodder troops (Orcs and Goblins) to hold initial Skaven rushes in place. A good war machine character such as Drazhoath the Ashen will be a big help, not only with his spells, but with Cinderbreath's devastating melee attacks. In short, a good Dawi Zharr army is a diverse one.
3:25 best casting i have ever heard
As always, loving your content, indy 👍👌💪
This was so satisfying to watch!
Of course it would be Okoii
i can already see the okii video now
I love artillery pieces. This one, together with Queen Bess, is my favourite.
Love your casting man, keep it up!
thanks sten much appreciated!
Men them explosions. Imagine a partial doomstack of them if you can somehow manage to get heros from other factions to upgrade their accuracy/reload time... That would be glorious to watch. I LOVE this unit already.
Ikit Claw be taking notes on the Chaos Dwarves' iteration of the doomrocket.
I am gonna need to go lay down after that Dreadquake, i am all tuckered out.
The SFX from the dreakquak shot is epic
can you have longer train and if so will it stil be single unit ? also whats the min range on the whatever artilery you can use with it ? is it possible to fire both arty and the flamethrower at front at the same time ?
Oh man when Okoii drops a 19 dreadquake mortar video
The dawi zharr's equal loathing for everyone is quite something, my kind of lads.
Huh, what is that eerie voice I hear?
"Behold, the Bringer of Light"
"Be careful: She's fragile"
"Precious cargo"
*"They will never forget"*
"We will be generous"
*"the Final Word"*
Getting flashbacks of Little Hansel from Sherlock Holmes 2, hope Okoii uses that meme in the doom stack.
As someone who has only really been excited about Skryre chains, this makes me wanna try something new.
Can't wait to play these boiiiis
Packing the shakes that'll make you quake.
MOAR TRAIN
3:25 Damn, now I gotta listen to DMX when I play Chaos Dwarfs.
Wooooh Okoiii!!!!
Has a train with great speed and fire whilst moving,
Doesnt push up to fire and then have his army far back to fall back to,
Gets devastated in melee.
There is room for improvement here
So the Chaos dwarves look stronk. I do love the fact that the star unit is more than worth its cost. It feels good. Cant wait to touch it.
My boy Okoii
Choo choo! Here comes the pain train!
The Warhammer 2 mod introducing Chaos Dwarves had a really good Dreadquake Mortar, so I was hoping that the real deal for Warhammer 3 would hold up to my expectations.
And man does that big gun looks like a lot of fun.
I hope the flamethrower is like a super version of the irondrakes haha
LOL 4:50, typical goblins, that one in the front center of course winds up with a knife in his back after the first volley.
those chaos dwarves do have some insane ability, but I wonder how they'll match up with the fire resistant high elves.
it's worth noting that quite a few high power / elite HE units do fire damage - flame phoenix, sisters of avalorn, sun dragon, keepers of the flame phoenix guard, and it looks like these Chaos Dwarfs have a lot of fire resistance
They have a lore of Hashut spell that makes the enemy weak to fire. Probably can do well
dragon and cav play gonna be hard
That train looks like the wet dream of an Iron Warrior Chaos Lord from 40k
I am going to need a lot of zombies, to get through this train fire 😱
Can’t wait to see 19 of these lol
Are these trains about to make warp grinders meta in the rat vs chaos dwarf match up? 👀
at 3:33 was i the only one that thought that cypress hill, insane in the brain was about to kick of?
So it seems like the Chaos Dwarfs blast “Ruff Ryder’s Anthem” in their giant train of death… This makes me want to quote Detective Harris (and most of the other officers in South Park): “Nice”
That is all I needed to see. Time to give CA my money
That first shot wasn't even a direct hit, but duck and cover boys, forecast for the coming months is heavy metal.
The literal Pain-Train.
Awesome.
I love this game so much.
I can't wait for the countless Thomas the engine meme videos to the trans ploughing through groups of enemies
Not sure if I missed it or not, Im guessing No, But can you De-tatch at all on any of the trains or are you locked as a combo peice?
Friendship ended Ikit Claw, Iron Hand is my new friend
The pain train has no break.
Expecting modders gonna make some mods about extra powered mortar train for many other factions
I wonder if shooting a tree point-blank with the Dreadquake would trigger the aoe around the train?🤔
Okoii truly is champion of the people
Entire Warhammer trilogy was us pre hyping and waiting for the chaos dwarves. Holy shit
"The shell always know where you are"
That pain train is hitten hard on all kind of levels
I love mixed race armies. Evil dwarfs, goblins, orcs, ogres. Its an insane look
That why i love regiments of renown dark omen mod
"CHOO, CHOO, MOTHERF■CKERS!"
- Thomas the Deamon Engine
Insane
Holy crap, it's Thomas the Pain Engine!
Can’t wait for a doomstack of basically an chaos thomas
There's a few answers to the Dreadquake I think, like single entity AP/AL like Necrosphynx, flying AP lords/units, Spread out and mobile waywatchers, magic damage I believe could work, etc. Hypogryph knights, steam tanks, and if dwarfs ever get thunderbarges then those would kinda counter them, assuming it doesn't cause earthquakes in the sky.
how do you attach dreadquakes etc to the back of the iron daemon?
The ogres in chat already know this, I like how far Okoii's micro has come from his first streams to now; inspiring! 💪
with all those plaguemonks, this game felt like a particularly nasty Vermintide level
Thomas defeated the Fat Controller and his Soul found his way… here.
Also; I can see this being the beginning of what will one day be the Baneblade. 👀
Does anyone know how I combine the demons Tongue with a dreadquake mortar?
From what I know, the way to counter chaos dwarfs is to have some of your own arty and try to beat them in an arty duel since they are not good with arty on arty and then try to snipe their machines, then try to overwhelm them with armour piercing and destroy them with single entities if they dont have any gunners
I like the DMX reference
We will have to wait to the inevitable patch that nerfes the chaos dwarfs
Quickly followed by mods that undo the nerfs.
How long can you make the trains? Or is it capped at 1
im glad they managed to do the dreadquake mortar justice
Chaos Dwarves invented tactical nuke.
