Well we *COULD* revive the 70's Disco scene in 2020 🤟 I mean music and bands live on thru us ALL so here in New Zealand it's 1970's DISCO MONDAY with Lockdown 3 soon to be Lockdown 2 ❤️ 😆
I wish I could go back in time and experience disco in real life, I'm 25 and disco is better than anything else out there. Respect to all of you who were there 😍
I grew into adulthood (late 20s early 30s) during this time and it brings back some wonderful fantastic memories of being young and on the dance floor. I was not a professional teacher but danced well enough to have 5 beautiful ladies ask me out multiple nights to teach them some disco and I didn't have to pay for dinner or drinks. Yes I wore Angel Flight pants and the obligatory golden neck chain or two... The disco era was special because the artists and bands that played the music were famous everywhere but we, as dancers, were famous locally - we were the 'dancing stars' and it was truly uplifting and I miss it. Disco forever!
I feel like crying when listening to this........it seems like yesterday when I used to dance to this beat, I was 19 years old. San Salvador had really good Disco Clubs and not to mention Guatemala City as well and by far Guatemala City had the most Clubs in Central America............I am glad I was a teen ager in the mid to late 70's, the best time of my life and the best music ever.
I'm 65 and from 77 when Saturday Night Fever came out. nothing will ever or can ever beat this music.. if we are ever invaded by Aliens all we have to do is start playing disco. weapons will be laid down . fighting be forgotten about, and the universe party will begin
Grew up In Miami in the 70's with Disco music and still today love it!!! Freestyle also, (Lisette Melendez, TKA, Cover Girls, Expose) those were the days!!!!! Limelight, Level 3, Pete & Lenny's in Ft. Lauderdale. Keep Disco Music Alive!!!!!!!!!!!!
1978-1980 - Spinning records for a roller rink in SoCal. Adult night was always at capacity and the people were beautiful. They would skate their asses off and afterward, we'd all go to Black Angus to keep the party going. Times were different... they would let us skate dance on the dance floor. It was an amazing time to live through... and at 17, I was king of the world. I'm still waiting for a revival of both disco & roller skating.
I'm 56 YO now. I've clear yet in my mind that time in Italy. Late 70's we started to dance the disco (SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER) has been the beginning of all overhere. Discos have begun to swarm everywhere. What a memory, what a magical nites. I think the world never had back again a time like that. Funny, happy, everybody dancin' on the floor listen to this awesome sound. Boys and gals just wanted to get fun. Yeah, i'd like to get back that time. Even for just one night. Oh, i'm I'm dying to be dancing now, course.

Fantastic! Lifts your mood 👌.. Positive vibes.. Makes you forget shite.. Gets you into that vibrational mind.. Dancing around the house.. Doing housework.. Brings bk memories xx
This is an AWESOME find for me this afternoon, working from home during the COVID issue, this has me chair dancing! the 70's was the place to be in music! Thank You for the FLASH BACKS! CHEERS & HUGZ to anyone who needs one! Peace to you ALL! :-)
Truly great music and thats all that matters, was way way too young to experience the disco era but heard lots of songs from my parents always loved the sound, respect to all real disco heads out there and the good times you had!
You didn't have to come of age during the 1970's to recognize true quality and the "Culture Greatness" that was happening from the 70's and through the 80's. Even though I grew up in the late 80's through the 90's i easily recognize that the music, the movies, the fashion, and the general attitudes and mindset of those times were incomparable to ANYTHING that has happened since. I feel true sadness for young people growing up now. What do they have? House parties? Masks, and sickness, and paranoia? We are our memories. and we are lucky to have them during such dark and rotten times. When there is nothing to look forward to, it's nice to be able to look back, and remember the great times..this world was really something.
I so miss being able to dance. This set made me feel like I was on the dance floor again! So many good songs. It wasn't the same old mix of Tramps, Bee Gees and Donna Summer. Thank you!
i was 18 and walked in to the first night club in my town and blew the place away with this music, younger people have not a clue how it turned everyone's life around
It is funny that people still think it is cool to bash on Disco. Let me tell you something, if you weren't there, you don't know. You don't know how fun and exciting of a time it was. Nor do you have any idea how truly great the music was not only in the good for party music way, but the way it changed the way we live. It brought to the forefront gay awareness, and accepted people from all walks of life, and all races. We all got along like best friends and treated each other with respect whether on the dance floor, or out in public. Personally, I started off dancing at the clibs and then was hired as a DJ at the hottest Disco in Albuquerque, Eliots Nest. I rocked that place for a couple years before I went in the Army and was and still am sorry I ever left that scene and lifestyle. To this day I LOVE Disco and dance music, I also love all types of rock, and almost every genre of music. I am partial to rock and DIsco for sure as it truly changed my life.....for the better.
Kevin Vaughn ^5 Kevin. People who put down disco just don't understand. That was a era of where there was no worries of diseases, love was in every corner...people, no matter the nationality or sexual preference, just got on the floor and grooved until it was time to go home. Clubs like Studio 54, The Roxy, Roseland where the place to be....yes I am showing my age, yet think....half the songs played here now, have been used in remixes, dubbed or whatever by these so-called rappers. That is another subject for another time.
Kevin Vaughn I was spinning in So Calif back in the day...the whole "Disco Sucks" thing was orchestrated by the right wing, and, once HIV got on the scene, everyone blamed discos, just like they're blaming hookup sites for the increase in infection now. Sadly, they're sort of right on both, but it wasn't the music's fault...people just didn't pay attention like I did in '79 when I first read about GRID. Ignorance is bliss....for awhile, anyway. But, yes, there was a huge backlash against the gay community caused by that idiot, out-of-work rock jock in Chicago looking for a way to make money, and the forces of evil backed him up. Right after that, the music went to synthpop bullshit and I quit.
@@margaret4807 SO agree with you on that! Put on a Bee Gees tune like Tragedy or even Staying Alive and I will start dancing without giving it a second thought.
Yep I remember the bump not so much the bus stop but I can remember trying to dance the bump with my mum when I was a kid but the only problem was she was too tall to reach her hips so I had to do the bump using her legs😂😂😂😂😂😂 oh the shame
I’m 21 and Disco is my favorite genre of all time. My friends all either listen to rap or hard Rock, but me? No I listen to the good stuff. To Disco! Y’all had the beat style with the groovy bass and the bell bottoms and open collar shirts and everyone clubbing everywhere wearing the best clothing styles that ever existed. And now I’m growing up in whatever crap this age is. But I’m proud to say I do my part to live and project Disco today. I don’t even care if someone in here makes fun of me but I got and wear my velvet bell bottom slacks with my pastel floral shirts and gold jewelry. Nothing feels better to me!
I`m sure you are aware there is lots of new Disco House available and lots of Disco House nights and who can forget the new Don of Disco PURPLE DISCO MACHINE. If you are in Europe then make sure to visit a Glitterbox night in the UK or Ibiza (when they let us all out again !)
Got the goosebumps!!! TRUTH best times of my young life!!! Not to be mean or malice to the young people of today!!! We older folks can’t explain it!!! We were United young people in music. And had much respect for one other. Peace Happy Holidays ✌️♥️💃🏻🕺👯
@@rosebud1958 I agree. We were the generation that were united because we were boomers! Boomers controlled everything from music, movies and politics. Now we are left with Health Insurance and Social Security ! I loved my life as a young man from the 60's to the 70's even through the 80's. Have a Great and Safe Holiday !
This music reminds me of when I took professional dance lessons at kiley school of dance#it was in the 80's and it was one of the greatest times of my life.Thank you so much for sharing this!
What a great selection of these fnumerous fantastic Disco tracks of the 70's and 80's. I listened to them a thousand times, but they never get bored & I still looking for more hidden tracks I missed in the past!
I wish I wish I wish....I had been an adult during the disco music era....time of flares, sky high wedges, quality music and the love for these musical artists ....living for the weekends to go and strut your bad self, in the clubs that made this music the institute that it was.
What a great mix! I wasn't around in the 70s but the idea of going to a club and hearing this while just enjoying the moment with everyone else and just being what you wanted to be in the darkness sounds like the experience of a lifetime 🕺🏽
I loved the Disco years the music live bands we a dress and look good. And once on the dance floor we didn't sit down. Good part of it we weren't fat Cuz we dance so much we all were in shape. I have great memories of those years if you experience it you know it was the best years for me it was best time I had.
Playing this brought me both joy and pain. Joy for being in high school, partying on weekends, roller rinks, teen clubs, chasing chicks and family gatherings + friendships. And pain for where the country/ world is today. Technology, greed and social apps have killed truly living our best lives!😢. But YT brings some of the joy back✊🏾✊
I absolutely adore disco and funk, going to the disco's of the mid70's , when northern soul was also on the menu, then as punk grew, disco funk not only grew but flourished to the point where even the sex pistols were parodied on a disco style by the black Arabs. The venues were safe, because it was about the social scene fun and Dancing to tunes which even 40 odd years later can still fill a dancefloor.
I want all the people here who wrote nice things about Disco to be my friends, seriously, I am serious. I LOVE this music since I first heard it as a toddler and I know people who love it too are my pack. Kisses to you. XXX
Studio 54, Xenons, Ipanema, The Garage, Ice Palace, Crisco's, Fun House, Infinities, The Electric Circus just to name a few of the spots in NYC during late 70's and early 80's. Great memories and no regrets. Dance, pills, blow and weed. Never again........
Copacabana OMG. I was there every Tuesday and the weekend. The best time of my life, not the garbage of today's music calling women names to sell records.
+nallly same here 70 80 pot dealer inwood hill park in manhattan better than studio 54 irish nebohod me Puerto Rican 10 bomboox on wbls girls smoked drank for free not glamarous peaple bjt good time im in Puerto Rico chilling.
I agree with Kevin below, if you did not experience Disco, you just don't know the excitement and shouldn't comment. Disco was an explosion that lasted a decade. I remember getting into Studio 54 when I was 16 and kept going for years. Some of the performers on this track performed there so it brings back great memories especially Candi Staton, Change and Stargard. That high energy beat still thrills today! Great memories. Great Songs!

Disco, Rock, Country, Classical no matter what the genre, all have one thing in common. It's all a good feeling to the audience absorbing the frequencies generated.

This is an AWESOME find for me this afternoon, working from home during the COVID issue, this has me chair dancing! the 70's was the place to be in music! Thank You for the FLASH BACKS! CHEERS & HUGZ to anyone who needs one! Peace to you ALL! :-)
Disco NEVER died...and it NEVER will !!
Those were the days my friend. We thought they'd never end!
Thank you!
2021 ❤️ 70's Disco isn't Dead, it's ETERNAL 🔥🎶💥✌️
bring back DISCO

You know it
May 22nd 2022 STILL ETERNAL 🔥🌟🙃 LOL Yeah
i was 18 and walked in to the first night club in my town and blew the place away with this music, younger people have not a clue how it turned everyone's life around
Kevin Vaughn I was too young at the time to go to a Disco but I enjoyed the music.
Rayne DeLeon I so agree it was an awesome decade and disco rules
Kevin Vaughn I don't know why anyone would bash disco.
Best time in life.
disco will never die.
Marilyn Higgins
AMEN TO THAT 🙏
@@margaret4807 SO agree with you on that!

Used to dance all night long to these songs. Now we are all entering 60"s YIKES .I've turned into my parents

Tony Cordero t.v. I'm

Nelly C. . . Me too! 😁💃🎶
😂😂😂😂 we all will sooner ir later.
Have you ever listened to Breakbot? He's the perfect modern-disco blend! Enjoy :D
I`m sure you are aware there is lots of new Disco House available and lots of Disco House nights and who can forget the new Don of Disco PURPLE DISCO MACHINE. If you are in Europe then make sure to visit a Glitterbox night in the UK or Ibiza (when they let us all out again !)
can't argue with that
GREAT TIMES ! IT WAS ONE TIME WHEN YOUNG ADULTS 20+ RULED THE MUSIC AND DANCE, NOT TEENS ! I'D GO BACK IN A SECOND ! 👍👍👍👍👍💙
Good Times
Think of the good Times
Remenber this song

I feel it. I feel it! It's happening. Yup, there I go. I'M DOING MY THING. STEP ASIDE......IM GONNA NEED SOME SPACE.
What a great selection of these fnumerous fantastic Disco tracks of the 70's and 80's. I listened to them a thousand times, but they never get bored & I still looking for more hidden tracks I missed in the past!
it was a Great Era of Music!
It was Alive -
It made you dance even if you didn't know how...and boy did we sweat on the dance floor! Best times that should be brought back again!
Just turned 18. Play this mix at least 3 times a week. Love disco man

Andres Leon
👏👏👏👏👏👏😉
UPDATE: Almost 23 now, still put this mix on once and a while 😂😂
I loved disco then and at 62, I still love it.
I wish I wish I wish....I had been an adult during the disco music era....time of flares, sky high wedges, quality music and the love for these musical artists ....living for the weekends to go and strut your bad self, in the clubs that made this music the institute that it was.
I can’t stop dancing
i went wild one night at the disco..... great memories......loved it
What a great mix!
Damn I luv this music my mother listen to it when I was growing up and I did the same with my daughters they also luv it the best 💙💙💙💙💙
Playing this brought me both joy and pain. Joy for being in high school, partying on weekends, roller rinks, teen clubs, chasing chicks and family gatherings + friendships. And pain for where the country/ world is today. Technology, greed and social apps have killed truly living our best lives!😢. But YT brings some of the joy back✊🏾✊
man I remember these songs like it was yesterday that was good dam music
12" is never too much when the Djs spinning the discs🙂
We are the greatest dancers with this music.....
XXX
Schreib Fieber it's foot tapping and not bugging.
Pardon?
I also love this music....❤️ and always will****. XOXO 🍦
DISCO FOREVER!
Kisses to you, too, booboo!

Right place, right time! You couldn't have picked a better place to find your future Mrs.
I really enjoyed the disco era...here in Bolivia.
BOTTOM LINE: This stuff made you feel GRRRRRREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes here comes that sound again, great mix👍 I was 18 yo in 1979 and time passes so fast!!!
Such happy, feel good vibes...gotta love Disco!
I'm 67 still love disco in the day I won many dance contest and I still dance with my grown children
Boyyyyyy I remember those days. had every 12" hit. from the record store The Wiz. only in jr high. Good ole Days
CAf
The Wiz!!! Wow!
Michael Watson
This mix is a true salute and tribute to the days when music just made sense and a serious flow to sound....love it 💪🏽
I’m happy to have experienced every aspect of the Disco scene, I hate that it was such a short period 1974-1984
