- Got this Stihl 021 Chainsaw up and running so I figured I might as well make a little video about it. Nice little saw, we'll go over some of the features and cut some wood with it! 35cc Chainsaw made in the Early 90s. Popular homeowner saw back in the day

That was my 1st saw at 13 yrs old and boy do I miss it. Thing refused to give me any problems. Dropped, limbed cut 4 cord and cut another 4 cord from log lengths every year till I was 19. She got a little tired but that's to be expected. Made me some money on side jobs and saved my dad's back some grief. Thanks for posting man

I bought two of these new in about 1995 and sold them about 10 years ago and regretted it. I saw one on craigslist today in excellent condition and picked it up for a $100

I noticed it is missing the winter & summer flap in front of the spark plug. They do help. This one can be carried up a ladder. Low idle and not too “grabby” on the cutting.

I own one of those. You are correct, great little saw. More powerful than it should be given it's size. That said it is perfect for me . I only hope it lasts as long as the Homelite XL-12 that has given me mild hearing loss.

Still use this as my go to saw if my O28AV Super is too big for the smaller jobs.
I have a large keyring on the kickback guard with extra lug nuts on it.
I use yellow series chains 3617 005 0055 63PS 55...............really puts the chompers on that unsuspecting wood.
Do not use green series chains if I have to, suppose to reduce kickback but they seem to wear out easier.

I Like the models like that one old style gas and oil caps I hate the new ones I got ms171 impossible to get the oil cap on lol and it's poor quality couldn't believe stihl started putting out saws that junky
