Should you? What are the privacy issues? What does your work collect about your phone? Do they have to install something?

    Hey Jordan,
This is best MFA explainer I've seen and I've worked in infosec for more than a decade. Thanks, you deserve praise and more views!

Thanks for asking! This video is becoming VERY popular with companies, universities, colleges, etc. worldwide. I'm happy to encourage the use of MFA and if this video helps to overcome some resistance, then please use it. Please abide by the CZcams licence, and do please attribute to me.

My college is requiring people to do this. Does this mean I have to work on college projects on my Phone?

Hi, there. Nope, not at all. Think of the time-based MFA app like a clock. It spits out a code every 30 seconds or so. No connection is made AT ALL to your college. It's like telling the webpage what the time is on your phone. That's it. And with the other forms of MFA, you don't need to do college work on your phone. It's just a way to get the code. Once you enter the code, you continue using whatever computer/phone/tablet you are logging in with.
